I don't drink enough of the bubbley stuff to comment on your question BUT my favorite cold winter or holiday wine style to have has to be moscato or port. I think both styles are great for kicking back with loved ones and unwinding. When it comes to post dinner drinking with GREAT company during the holidays I'm sipping some port for sure. Every new year's eve over the past 6 or so years I've been drinking port but this year I might switch it up and have some demi sec or moscato.

firstly, it should be pronounced bra-khet-to like you will pronounce chianti like khian-ti.
secondly, you don't really want to swirl the glass when you're tasting a sparkling wine, definitely not for champagne alike, although this is semi-sparkling, it is still a sparkling

yah-
what u were talking about is Korean food.
it's called "???[Pot Bing Su]" in Korean.
it can be like "adzuki bean sherbet" or "ice flakes with a (red-bean) syrup" in English.
u can put fruits, green tea, or whatever u want, instead of red-beans.
^^

QOTD: Probably a staff tasting after hours when i was working at a wine store. It was good to not just read wine books but enjoy all sorts of wine with other people that really appreciate it. Many wine experiences to come as I learn where to get the best QPRs!
