Good video! Here are some additional comments:

Icardi d’Asti: To me, most Asti’s are more acidic than Alba’s. This wine may need a few more years to develop…plus food served with it.

Seghesio d’Alba: I generally like Alba’s better than Asti’s. The seem to be rounder, fuller, richer and with notes of roses and hints of Nebbiolo. However, this producer is one of the more modern (which I generally eschew), especially his use of oak barriques. Obvious oak in any red Piemonte wine drives me up the wall. My favorite Barbera is Conterno-Fantino.

Cascina d’Asti: The acidity is a problem for me, too. However, it should be much better with food (especially acidic food), and with more aging.

My guess for what’s in the bucket – Thundercats – too long since their appearance.
Favoirte all time show – hard – I’d have to say The Daily Show just beats out Cosby in being more important to life – I think I would have fled to Canada years ago without being able to laugh at the situation with Jon Stewart.

What’s in the pumpkin? Pumpkin seeds?!
QOTD: We were stationed overseas in my formative TV viewing years and watched a lot of BBC/Brit TV productions-from Coronation Street to The Bill, Prime Suspect. Love Brit humor as well, anything with Dawn French.

I had a Barbera with dinner tonight, so I had quite a chuckle when I checked the site and saw a Barbera episode. It is a great wine.

QOTD: This one’s difficult, I’ve seen so many great shows that it’s really hard to pick a favorite. I guess I could say shows that have a quaint, odd, clever and/or quirky humor. Growing up I loved Animaniacs, and also enjoy Kids in the Hall, Invader Zim, Northern Exposure and Lexx.

Why are you making an effort to taste more widely available wines? So long as you link up to your store and we can buy from you, who cares if your fans in Iowa can buy it at the local Walmart?
