I’ve enjoyed some asti and some alba. I definitely agree they’re more interesting than chianti.

Very, very good show. Excellent evaluations. I Love the barbera – very underated as you say. Soliter 2006 Barbera D’asti (Pescajar) is an excellent barbera.

    QOTD: The Equalizer

QOTD: Firefly, Simpsons, Futurama, X-Files back in the day.

And I love me some Barbera, it seems to be more consistent than a lot of grapes.

I was gonna guess a thunder cat in the pumpkin, but someone already did. So I’ll say there’s a plane ticket to come visit you at the Wine Lib with my name on it.

Fun show GV, I’ve only had one Barbera before at a restaurant and I can’t even remember what it was, but I remember enjoying it.

QOTD: My So-Called Life. Keep it real.

QOTD: The husband says Star Trek, The Next Generation. I say that in trying to come up with my favorite all time TV show, I notice that I’m watching less and less TV as I get older. (Maybe because there’s less and less worth watching?). For me, St. Elsewhere and MASH come to mind, but probably MASH is #1.

In the pumpkin: Since ‘nothing’ has already been guessed, I’ll say a ‘Mott, Link It Up!’ wristband. (If you won’t give him a T-shirt, can he at least have a wristband?! ;)

QOTD okokok … who remembers THE MYSTERIOUS CITIES OF GOLD? or HEATHCLIFF AND THE CATILLAC CATS? … Gary, i just discovered you through Conan! You remind me of my roommate from collage Ryan from Long Island. I have a suggestion for an episode. Im from Highland, here in the Hudson Valley, and the grape that grows best here is Seyval Blanc. 3 of the best wineries around here are Benmarl, Stoutridge, and Glorie. All three have released Seyval Blanc wines, and this is the most interesting part for you the wine taster, they are all 3 made from grapes grown in Glorie’s vineyard. Despite the single origin of the grapes, each wine is different from the other. i thought this a very good opportunity for you to explain how the style of wine making effects the taste, smell, and texture of the wine.

There is a dark chocolate candy bar in the pumpkin head.

QOTD–In terms of classics, Seinfeld, for sure. Nobody has ever created such a brilliant show. Arrested development comes in a close second in terms of intelligent humor. Recently, although it only lasted one season (mainly b/c it was too smart for the key demographic), Studio 60. Aaron Sorkin is a great writer and Matthew Perry and Bradley Whitford were excellent. I recommend it on DVD.

What’s in the bucket? Would he do it again? I think so. NOTHING!
QOTD: It was only a season, but it was awesome – Firefly

Great show. Thanks for taping in advance so we wouldn’t suffer while you’re on vaca. Hope you’re having a great time. :)

Has to be either Mash or Seinfeld. Both timeless and intellegently hilarious.
Barbera rockes, the Icardi is a winner for the price. Beats Chianti with my Friday night pizza for sure. Keep up the good work.
