    QOTD: Can’t remember it’s been so long….

    Where’s the wrestling move?

A battle for the ages! Can’t France win something for a change?!?

QOTD: The only Pinot Gris I’ve ever had was from Oregon, and I can’t even recall the name because it was Blah!

Great show Gary! Thanks so much for everything you do.

QQTD: I have had a Pinot Grigio. I really enjoy their clean crispness. I have only had Italian Pinot, but I am really excited to try different areas.

QOTD: Never had one. I don’t drink much white wine; spend most of my wine drinking endevors on the reds.

QOTD: Sorry Gary, I don’t remember any of the pinot grigios or gris that I’ve had, I know I’ve had and enjoyed many, but there’s none on my list of ones that I’ve reviewed, so I can’t really give details. But you requested we reply anyways.

QOTD: I rarely drink PG, so not much of an expert here. Meyer-Fonne from Alsace does make a nice one. Full of pear and stone flavours.

Gary those wines both sound awesome.

    QOTD:
    -Never had one :(

Never had an actual Pinot Gris, but I have had Pinot Grigio. Unfortunately, I have not had very good ones.

Glad to see a Binner on the show. I’ve had a bunch of their wine and all of it excellent. So that’s probably the best one I’ve had…

QOTD: Can’t remember the last one I liked! Guess I’ll have to venture out and find one of these…

I’m still new to the wine world and have yet to try a Pinot Gris (Grigio). I’m working my way around to them but it is slow going ($$).

QOTD.. don’t know if it was the best ever, but it’s the one I thought of and that is Willamette Valley PG from Or E Gon ;) , not sure if I spelled that just right..but close enough.

Can’t remember the last Pinot Gris, but we would really like to try that Alsacian wine. Excellent show Gary… that brought some thunder to our rainy day here in Montana.

QOTD: Iris Hill. I can’t remember the vintage but it was really impressive.

I can’t remember the last Pinot Gris/Grigio that I had, but now I really want to try both of these selections in a head to head death match!

Must admit, I’ve only tried one Pinot Gris and it didn’t change my life. Not a huge fan of white wines in general.

I have had only one Pinot Gris, it was ok. Drinkable but definitely lacking the thunder. Don’t remember the name.

Oooh, a draw! Didn’t see that one coming. Sounds like two completely different palates.

QOTD – Never had a Gris, but now I’ll have to try one. Had two different Grigios last night. Really enjoyed the Bottega Vinaia. :)

QOTD: The Nec-otium that you gave thumbs up to last year.

QOTD: Elk Cove from Oregon ( pronounced OREGUN NOT OREGONE ).

With all the great stuff coming from Oregon, you gotta work on that!!

    Never had one. :-/

Hope your vacation is going well!

QOTD: Never had one except a few sips. Its reputation is the “merlot” of white wines.

FINALLY! I’ve caught up! Been pretty crazy with work lately, and I fell so far behind on shows. Now, I’m back, baby!

    Good show!

QOTD: I can’t really say what my favorite Pinot Gris has been. I don’t drink them much. Not a huge fan.

It’s gotta be either a Trimbach or a Zind Humbrecht. There was a small Alto Adige I liked too, Kupelwieser; very nice. Past tense because shopping locally it is very valley centric.
