gary you should give mott a bottle of the 42 bone gattinara for his birthday. he’s probably turning 48. i’ve had ciro several times. my father-in-law is from calabria (where ciro is made).

QOTD2: Yes! Yes and yes! I live in SF, saw the pics from last year’s event, and I can’t wait to head out to Fort Mason to meet all you Vayniacs and hang with Gary. (Don’t forget drink some great wine.)

On a side note, last time I was at Fort Mason was for Oktoberfest, and it was downright terrible. A horrible event planned for about 1,500 when really about 5,000 people showed up. I’m sure this one will be much more enjoyable.
