Two Bros Big Tattoo red is one of the first wines that I can remember trying. This was probably around 2003. I had the empty bottle on my counter for a while so that I could remember to buy some more.

QOTD: Sharing wine out on the Page Springs deck with my parents and my new wife a day after we got married in AZ.

awwww…. where’s alex’s qotd??? I’ve been really into this wine and the idea behind this wine since I learned about it. I’m really into fruit-forward cabs so this ends up being one of my favorites at its price. I think I’ve been through at least a case at this point. I just wish more stores in Iowa carried it because most of my support has gone to New Jersey heh….

Hey “V” fans, I´ve been drinking chilean wines, reds, whites and blends. They got amazing wines specially from casablanca and san antonio (sauvignon blanc, chardonnay and cool climate syrah). New cool climate syrah rules, the ones from san antonio they are very elegant, complex balanced and far way better than aussie mermelades hot syrah (in general. Tip´s Villard Pinot noir from casablanca, Antiyal 99-01-03 and Kuyen 04-06 biodynamic carmenere and syrah based blends from Maipo Valley, and my favorite “ge” biodynamic demeter certified 4 var. red blend from Viñedos orgánicos emiliana Colchagua valley.

QOTD: Wow, probably sharing a wine with my dad that I had tracked down that had our surname on it and it turned out to be a good wine, too! (Mason Cellars) Now each year for Christmas I buy a case for him to enjoy during the year. Whenever he has dinner guests he pulls a bottle of the Mason out of his cellar and it never fails to add to his enjoyment of the evening…
