So just got back from a formal tasting as a guest with a wine club that has been at it for 23 years. Great guys. Double blind tasting. I guessed west coast cabs and they were cab merlot blends from Washington. The 2005 Walla Walla Spring Valley Uriah got my highest score. Killer.

My most unique characteristic might be the number of hobbies and sports I pursue. I want to do a lot of things. Not someone who wonders what I will do when I retire!

qotd: My most unique characteristic is my ability to look at big dreams as something that can realistically be played out.

QOTD: My passion for all things food and drink. (And of course, expanding my “pal”!)

Right on “Q”…Mott with the 85 pan. That was excellent!!! Love it. Hope you’re enjoying Boston, Gary.

QOTD: My most unique characteristic has to be my lazy eye. Everyone always thinks I’m talking to the person to the right of them. It’s annoying, but amusing none the less.

i would do the third thirsty thursday if I had friends who drank wine a lot. But I don’t, although there is a wine tasting at a wineshop just down the road every thursday. So once I do get that crowd, its a garauntee i’ll have something to do.

qotd: i’m a very loyal friend, sometimes I think too loyal because I’ll get burn by it. the most recent occassion was a buddy of mine completely trashing my apartment because he had too much to drink on a night right before an exam in one of my classes. needless to say he’s not allowed back in my apartment. but I do think it is one of my better qualities if I don’t get too carried away.

I am loyal to my family and friends, their names are safe in my mouth.

QOTD: Venturing out into the uncomfortable. I’m an introvert that tries to meet people, I’m an old school timid guy that endeavors to experience new things, and I’m a man of faith that asks questions.

QOTD: One eyebrow is higher than the other. My barber has to do a little shaving to make them even. And another thing, I like to make fun of everything.

I love that fact that even though you know the folks who own the winery are fantastic people, that doesn’t influence your rating of the wines. Honesty is the best policy!

QOTD: My commitment to the choices I make… wheter good or bad.

I haven’t laughed as hard watching this show as when you did the Irvin shiffy-sniff. Each episode is fun and interesting in its own way. Amazing job.

QOTD: unique? I watch video blogs of a guy I think has a great edge on marketing? That I like mountain biking and did 18 miles of hellish single track today? When is the next secret pack? it’s time for my neighbor to buy it – so let’s bring it on! Go for the top line this time!!! hahahahaa.

    I’m humbled. :)

Hey Gary, the Sugar Smacks mascot was Sugar Bear – not a frog! Honey Smacks was the one hawked by a frog – “Dig ‘em” Frog to be exact.

QOTD: My most unique characteristic has to be my humility. I’m proud to be humble. :)

QOTD: I’m that guy that can just figure out a new piece of technology by messing around with it for a few minutes.

Nice winery, and had a good time there in 05′. QOTD: I’m brutally honest, the older I get the less palatable political correctness is to me.

QOTD: I am a great, devoted, involved, commited, and loving dad to my daughter. Hard for me to comprehend why ALOT of divorced single dads are not!!!!!!

Good idea to focus on one winery. Do more of these.
I’m experiencing a little disappointment with a Portuguese wine from the Douro, but likely I’ll get over it.
