Congrats on the double blind results, i’ll have to check it out tomorrow. maybe you can “link it up” tomorrow or something.

QOTD: Post-secondary school kept me so busy for the past 7 years, but now that I have joined the work force, a trip to France certainly is not out of the question.

    Fredrich was a great co-host.

QOTD: France is too far a swim from Illinois.

    Thanks Gary

Fantastic show – what a lovely bloke.

QOTD: I haven’t visited the winerary, but I’ve spent a bit of time in that area and I keep going back when ever I get a chance. France – love it!

QOTD- Never been to France but have sippy sipped many oustanding wines from there. Too friggin far, 1/2 way around the world for me (Hawaii). The plane ride would kill my arse. Now if I won the contest. . . I gotta make sacrifices ya know. My best French experiences were a ‘95 Chateauneuf-du-Pape that I recently had, and a surfer girl from Biarritz that I once knew. Both were difficult to forget.

Crazy episode. Crazy contest. I love it all.
QOTD: I’m sorry, but I was unaware that it existed. Now that I know about it I may just have to make a trip.

Gary: An intro, guest, and studio audience? I think you’re growing the show really well. Does your five year plan include a network TV show?… me thinks it should.

QOTD: Finances and family have kept me from visiting any part of the world outside of the USA for the past 7 years. Plus I’ve been waiting for some kind of contest to win in order to be able to get over to France.

    The “Link it up Mott” shirt!!!!!!!!!!! At last! Congrats, Mott … You’ve definitely the best WLTV shirt so far ;~}

I love the new intro, too. Very classy, very well-done.

QoTD: I have to vaguely second CBone’s answer … So many places to go, so little time (and, let’s be serious: money!). I’d gladly come to do slave labour any day, though!

Top Drawer Episode!! Grrreat contest, astounding development on tee-shirt front, and charming guest…

QOTD: Have actually visited quite a bit in days of yore – visited my folks at NATO air base in Marville until M. DeGaulle “invited” our military to leave 8>( Had some marvellous times visiting Loire chateaux and wineries, Champagne country, Alsace etc.

Great intro sequence, really professionally done. The show just keeps getting better.

QOTD: I haven’t been because this is a great big world and I am only 33!

Gary, gary gary, you need to rethink your Revision 3 editing. I just watched the show on Revision 3 and was not entirely impressed. I love WLTV and Revision 3, I thought the pairing would be amazing. Your personality just didn’t shine with that edit. I come to WLTV and Revision 3 for the content but also for the personalities. I recommend the show being posted just as it is on WLTV. If you have any control over your content there lets make sure they know how to properly view the thunder!

qotd: I haven’t been able to see as much of France as I would like because of money and time restrictions, but I would love to see the Ventoux. Every year at this time I make an effort to drink plenty of rose wines from that area, but I have found some of the reds to be very nice as well. Thanks for another great show. I agree that it’s better not to score the wines when you have a guest who represents them in some way.

    Gary and Fredrich,

Great Great show. Way to bring the thug nasty thunder today. Freaking amazing contest. I almost crapped myself.

QOTD – Due to insufficient funds, I have yet to visit France, but it is on the to do list of world travel and Winery touring.

QOTD: Because while I have had the pleasure of seeing Frnace in person, I have never had the time to explore the wine world.

Go Mott. got to get the shirt.
Just got back from Iowa City and saw much of what you saw and some of the flooding in Indiana as well. Wish all of those people well. I second GV here give what you can. This was a slow moving Katrina.
I love the south of France but haven’t been to Pesquie winery and vineyards so I should go.

Fredrich is completely charming, what a great guest (and show)! Please don’t wait 3 years to invite him back!

And YAY! Finally! Mott has his shirt. It is about time! I am most pleased.

QOTD: Because when I was young and had the means and the time, I was ignorant of the regions of France. Had I gone then, I might never have come home… ;)

I was listening to this broadcast in the background as I am writing and trying to get this crazy website going…and the thing that catches my ear is:

    wireless internet… in France…

And I wonder if my American computer will speak French WiFi? When my housemate was here last year (an intern from France working at FFC in Sonoma), her French computer didn’t speak American WiFi.

And how’s that for a public-three-dimensonal-neon- capital “L” over my head.

    The Ben

Holy crap an intro! Indeed RIP Carlin, my earliest memories of my father laughing were watching that guy on HBO.
QOTD: Never been, always wanted to go to France, but I guess the passion wasn’t there…yet. More on that in the contest. Thank you Gary for rocking me out of my chair with the thunder!

Great Episode – wonderful opportunity – I’ve submitted, I can only pray that they put me to work!!

C’mon, you gave the Terrasses an 85 … that’s a very good wine, right? Not really panning it all that much.

Thing is, I think that’s the only one of the wines you blind-tasted that I didn’t try, and now I really wish I had. I’ll have to pick one up when I am back in town Friday.

Thanks again for coming out to IA though … thoroughly worth the drive (and yes, I did arrive home safely just after 3 am).

I would deeply deeply love to do the contest, but I can’t – I’m down south that week with the relatives saying goodbye to a member of the family. Thanks anyway, though.

    It’s Berzerk, not Berzerker.

QOD: I got nothing, but thanks for reminding me to get a freakin’ passport already. Next time, I promise. Oh, and it probably has something to do with my French being utter merde.

I want his hair. Great guest, speaks fluent English, handsome and owns a French winery . . . he’s living in my dream world.

QOTD: Been to France, love the country and the people (Sarkozy is a major improvement) and will go back again soon.

    à la votre!
