So after 500 eps of hype about Top Ten, and it looks like it’s a fix-able scenario? Gary, you should see what Brandon M can do with the feetsball game down the coast from here. In any case, I’d peg the score at SFFN 24 – NYJ 17. But then, when it comes to ‘murican feetsball, I don’t know poop from shineola…

Big props on the very impressive and commendable milestone!

I was at your book signing in Seattle but they ran out before I could get a copy and I didn’t bring the one I bought from Amazon. Don’t know if you heard but Seattle had major thunderstorms the following week which is quite rare in the NW.

Liked the SF show but I kept expecting the barrels behind you to come rolling out and watching you Donkey Kong over them.

The Jets aren’t very good but the 49ers are awful (NY: 10, SF: 6).
It will be a much different story when the Jets come to Seattle (SEA: 24, NYJ: 17). Hopefully I’ll see you at your tailgate party.

This and every other WLTV show is about so much more than just the wine….If I only wanted wine commentary, I have plenty of other dry (& sober??) websites I also read that I can turn too. I love WLTV and the forum members for the sense of community I’m finding, and for that reason episode 500 was a BLASTY-BLAST!!!! (thanks Jose…)

I am a relatively new watcher/lurker, thanks for the definition of the Oak Monster. It is educational to hear why it is a monster.

Also thanks for the talk about tanins and a mention of decanting.

Question: is one decanter just as good as another or are some decanters better for the wine? What should we look for in a decanter?
