    QOTD:

Don’t usually cleanse my pal. If I do it’s crackers or biscuits or just water.

PS… I was cracking up when I heard Erik trying not to laugh in the background. HA!

    Hi Gary!

I just LMAO when I saw that the monkey was in fact a kind of a catapult… Now I want one!

    Just great show!

    Keep up the good work!

QOTD – A always use a little of the next wine I’m about to try with water added! Cleans your palate better than water alone and gets your mouth slightly accustomed to the next wine.

    Loved that Woot monkey!

QOTD: Usually the next wine. But if I’m really trying to break things down I’ll use bread or crackers.

Awww, as one of the wine.wooters that trashed Gary during the book offering, now I feel bad.

This was a fun episode, since I was familiar with 2 of the wines, and I’m going to be all over that woot cellars offering.

    QOTD: water.

QOTD. Interesting question. Lately I haven’t been cleansing my palate at tastings. (So many wines, so little time.) I just try to pause for a moment. When I do cleanse, maybe a little bread.

    nice show.

qotd: I don’t usually use anything unless I am tasting quite a few (maybe 15+) wines or have just had a wine with some residual sugar. Like many others, I do like bread, unflavored crackers, and/or sparkling water.

Awesome show…love finding new websites and he was wonderful!!

QOTD: I usually drink water in between if there are non-flavored crackers around those are good too.

    Nice banter!

correction to previous remark! they do ship to GA.

I wish woot.wine could ship to GA. I have a woot bucket (from a recent wootoff) that would be great for spitting except I don’t spit out good wine :D .
QOTD: I’ve always wondered this too. I normally don’t clean.

    rimarfish

    Great show.
    QOTD: sparkling water

This was like an Abbot and Costello episode. Deadpan and energy combine to keep it interesting. Woot is such a great concept and I saw Gary snap on the idea like “Why didn’t I think of that?!?!”. PS- love the stemless wine glasses.

QOTD: Beleive it or not, a banana is a great palate cleanser.

Gary, you gotta let your guest speak! Or chill out on the redbulls or something. Poor guy couldn’t get a word in edgewise…
My QOTD: How does Chase compare to Ridge zin?

My A to the QOTD: the only palate cleanser that really works for me is….time. A good 5 min between tastes. Everything else messes me up, except water, which doesn’t do enough.

    Nice zin comment, Paulie D.
Your irony was right on target.

Can I hear a woot woot or NOT. Vaynercac’s rule.

No cleaning a washing is fine!

  22. July 17, 2008

    Steven E

QOTD: I like to use room temperature sparkling water, or just water if I have to.

    Jake

I love those wine crackers (biscuits?) for cleaning of the palate. Actually, I just eat them, they are so good. Love the Woot by the way.

    Evan R.

That woot monkey was killer. Also, I like hearing that the woot wanna be could be an awesome $10 wine.

    QOTD- room temp water.

    QOTD: french bread
