I’m hoping to come in September if the first trip to France contest comes through!!! It’ll be the opportunity to improve my French for th Fete de Fleur next June!

And Gary – definitely show some more footage from around the vineyards & wineries…

This Bordeaux tour is absolutely one of the best ideas for your show and for us – your loyal Vayniacs!

QOTD: I’m so there, say when!

The Bordeaux tour looks to be a good one. Guest was a real good sport about the show and you may have converted him to be a Jets fan. He needs a Jets tie or pocket square…

QOTD: Not soon enough. Need figure out how to narrow the gap between the $ and the Euro

The Jets 11-5? They are lucky if they finish 5-11!! Well at least they have 2 easy wins against the Dolphins, but 2 GUARANTEED losses to the PATS.

Nice show. You might want to give the French guys a little heads-up on the QOTD. I don’t think he ever figured out what you wanted him to ask a question. As always…love the shows with guests.

Fun show, again. Wouldn’t it be a hoot if all the Vayniacs showed up at Tristan’s Chateau at the right time for picking?

La Tour Martillac is great because you can never confuse the label for any other chateau. And it is the only Bordeaux of commune AOC level that I’ve had both the white (excellent) and the red (very good). Can’t wait to see where Gary’s Bordeaux tour takes him next!

What a wonderful show! I’ve one bottle of the 2004 LTM in my cellar… maybe drinking this this weekend.

QOTD: First I have to visit the German wine regions befor I’m travalling to France ;)

Gary, I have to say I’m realy enjoying watching you make your way through the Bordeaux. I’m new to wine and all I’ve heard about Bordeaux’s is “get the ’05’s,” “You absolutely must buy cases of the ‘05 vintage.” I have bought a few ’05’s but for someone who is on a budget(mostly as a result of the the economy) I can’t afford many of the bottle I come across. And the few that I do have, I’m afraid to drink. What I am getting to is that it is nice to see someone pointing out the other vintages, ones I can buy for a few bucks less, and feel like I can open and enjoy. I start my search tomorrow.
Thank you Gary, and you’re doing a great job.
QOTD: If anyone out there is interested in donating a plane ticket, I’ll be there ASAP.

Graves has too much gravel. i thinki can only pick the grapes where there is more grass. is he looking for some free labor or what?

aaaaaah i love it. Gary rolls in on these unsuspecting wine growers, sits them down in front of a camera, and pops open their prized vintages! LONG LIVE THE KING! [***THUNDER NOISE***]

QOTD: I’m hoping maybe for the 09 vintage – most likely it’s going to be the soonest I’ll be able to get out.

Great show, keep up the great France shows.

I can only wish to visit such a winery. I’m at a stage in my life where i can afford to rent a power cart when i play a round of golf, but it will be a couple more decades before i can budget for a winery trip.
