it’s too late to vote but #1 was great!

I love Gigondas, was there only a few months ago, great great little town with fantastic wine.

Name: Slurry Thunder

1-as many damn people as you can fit around the computer screen

Rules: 1) All players must be of legal age (those under legal age must play with Sparkling Grape Juice or “Kids Wine” as it was known when I grew up)

2) After playing all contestants must leave a comment on their experience – ie lurkers are instantly disqualified and must take a lap around a city block, or a cow pasture if you’re out in the boonies

3) Any signs of Wine Douchbaggery cause instant disqualification (to be voted on by the rest of the group) If you’re alone; we work on the honor system.

4) There are no losers, only winners…possibly drunk drunk winners.

Instructions: Full blown instructions are followed up with easy to remember names.

1) Everytime a ‘horn’ sounds during the intro, take a drink; this is known as “getting the party started”

2) Any time the Jets are mentioned take a drink: “The pity parade”

3) If gary uses a word you don’t know take a drink: “Ignorance provides bliss”

4) If the oak monster comes out…Scream at your computer: “I ain’t afraid of no Oak”

5) Anytime Mott has to work take two drinks: “One for me, one for my worker bee”

More rules to follow…I have taken this WAY too seriously!

Gigondas tends to produce better value in Rhone wines than the more well-known Chateauneuf-du-Pape. It looks like you found a couple of winners here. Good show!

Great show. I saw a Big Ass Glass just like Gary’s at the World Market. It wasn’t as big but still pretty big. It looked just like the one Gary uses and sells for $8.99.

Brilliant episode… Loved it!

The glass is the Bottega del Vino Burgunder… ~$200 bones.

QOTD: Can’t really think of a WL _drinking game, but I could see a blind taste test where you smell/taste and give description and have the Vayner Nation comment on what wine they think you tasted. The reveal would be the next day.
