So CA does make some decent wine! You can be so down on them…its nice to know that there are some good wines that I can actually find. Great show.

QOTD: 10-6 Favre is not the whole team…though he may think he is

Good show on Pinots. I find them tempermental; still looking for a few that i like; dislike more than like.
QOTD: 11-5, but you should had asked the date when the Packers coach will be lynched by the fans after a bad start.

    great show Gary!
    QOTD Answer:jets 10-6
I can’t wait for the Chargers VS jets game, where the chargers will bring the thunder against the poor jets

Always good to rock the pinot.

QOTD: The JETS will be a contender for a wild card spot with the addition of farve, plus the 2 linemen woody and faneca, and a monster in Jenkins plugging up the middle. Not totally sold on the D, but the offense should be very well balanced and a force. With that said you will exit the playoffs early when mr interception throws yet another big pick to end his teams season.
JETS 10-6 and my fish 5-11 (very easy schedule this year with the NFC west calling)

I love pinot comparisons. How can they be so different from each other?
I must have been napping – I missed the QOTD, but I gather that it had something to do with the Jets. I’ll be interested to see what effect Favre has on the team. Is the coach a doofus for making him run a lap?

I say Jets go 10-6, maybe 9-7. Jets will need the wide receivers if they hope to benefit from Farve.

    QotD: 10-6.

You gotta do a show on ice wine.

QOTD – Jets will go 9-7 this year.

    Scott - Boston

QOTD: Jets, uh… does it matter? Patriots continue their mastery, Favre or no Favre. aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Just a little fun ribbin’. I’m sure you all enjoyed last year’s Super bowl…

Jets : 10-6, Favre misses last three games of the season; just a hunch.
    Pats coast into the playoffs.

    Looove Stinkor!
    Scott – Boston

Nice to hear somebody else praise the 2004 Burgundy vintage. A great underated vinatage.
    P.S. Farve stinks!

I’m thinking the Jets are going to win the Stanley Cup (I don’t think there’s any doubt about that) against the Phoenix Sun. I just hope they don’t fall apart like they did last year at Wimbledon. That was just embarrassing – in 50 overs no less!

    10-6

    Tom B.

    Hey Gary:
QOTD: Too bad you were away during most of the Favre to Jets stuff. Being a Buffalo fan I’m finding it hard to predict more than 9-7 (not enough to sneak into the playoffs). However, I totally understand your enthusiasm. This is the most press the Jets have seen in quite some time!

If you owned the Jets, (I know you will some some day) would you have signed him?

  20. August 11, 2008

    neutron212

QOTD: the jets record is going to be 9-7 Vegas has them at 8-8 thats after the jets were moved up 2 wins when Farve joined the team. after all the afc east is playing the nfc west this year EZ wins

  21. August 11, 2008

    Jaybird

QOTD: GV ya know I love ya Bra… i do root for the Jets most of the time but with Favre there I don’t see it happening as much he will be a newcense like Billy Madison in the Ms. Vaughns class. 6-10

Thunder Cruise definitely sounds baller, Gary. If you have video of Mott going in for an unexpected dip, that would be YouTube gold! :-)

    Tad

A change of heart from Gary V. Pre NFC Championship game you talked abot how Brett was a phony and over-rated. None of that now that he is a Jet.

Still love Brett, but he held an organization hostage and acted like a diva.

Go Pack Go! We will be just fine.

    mrzitro

QOTD: 7-9, Farve should have stayed retired.
