That’s such a funny show! Heh heh what a good imagination GV has, with the Jets defeating the Patriots and all. WE SHALL SEE, GV.
QOTD: I kind of like Dr. Pepper

A&W WITH a Butterfinger candy bar.

For something with a little grown-up juice I’ve been on a kick lately of diet 7-up with light rum.

    Hi Gary,

Glad to see someone else enjoying these wines. I have had a little bit of stick in the past with people saying it’s a ladie’s drink but you have given me confidence to drink it again.

Cheers and keep up the good work! Looking forward to a Lambrusco series at some point!?

Very nice. I love the sparklers. But I tend to stay with the brut style. I’ll have to re-visit the Moscato.

QOTD: Picking a favorite sparkling beverage would be like picking a favorite child. You may have one, but you can’t hurt anyone’s feelings.

    g,

i am familiar with Moscato d’Asti, my favorite is the Boeri brand. i like it cold and crisp, and served with dessert.

your jets rant was truly amusing, especially with the fictional Jets vs. Patriots scenario. Pats will kick Favre’s ass in NY like they did in Green Bay.

    another enjoyable episode.

Cream soda from Coopersmith’s Pub (Fort Collins, CO). Wicked tasty and pink. But, La Spinetta Moscato D’asti is (partly) what turned me on to drinking wine in the first place. Loved the show, can’t wait to try the Braida.

I agree with J Crazy. It HAS to be Henry Weinhard’s cream soda. It is so unbelievably delicious.

He also — and I just found this out a week ago — has a delicious beer line as well, which is amazing because I’m not much of a beer fan.

That Jets litany is what you can do if you’ve only been drunk “like a handful of times” and never smoked anything in your life.

QOTD: A&W Root Beer from the tap at the A&W restaurant off the Pennsylvania Turnpike in central PA.

snicker. I would say Cheerwine. Then RC. Oh, you wanted wine – then from Trader Joes – Vinho Verde. $4 and lightly bubbly.

Great show. I need to find a Moscato D’asti soon. I had one or two, but haven’t for a while. thanks for the show.

So… Mott is your new benchmark scorer?

QotD: I’m going to have to go with a Diet Cherry Limeade from Sonic. Maybe it’s just because my car’s ac is out and there is a sonic on the way home, but it can’t be beat!

you dissed my favorite moscato! of course i haven’t had the one you liked so much, so i’ll seek it out – but we get the tinterro at kermit lynch for $7 or $8, it’s a can’t miss summer drink – it deserves better, for those of you who may stay away from it. i’ve definitely turned some people on to moscato with that wine -
