    Hey Gary,

    Good Show !

Favourite Bubbles – Fortunate enough to have a Dom P 96 and Krug NV. They were fantastic bottles of wine on fantastic occasions.

To extend the question – What is your favourite every day bubble drink -

Jean Louis Denois Sparkling from the Languedoc Region in France is all killer and no filler !

that Moscato. Have yet to try one.

    Hi Gary
    I´m now upset !
Aren´t WLTV supposed to be educational ?
Moscato d’Asti is made using a very unique method known as the Asti method. If you dont know this when drinking Moascato d’Asti a lot of the fun is lost.
And the difference between Asti spumante and Moscato d’Asti could be the best way to describe the alcoholic fermentation.
I think the Brechetto d’Acqui you did a few weeks ago didn’t get the oppertunity to shine due to insufficient info talk from you on WLTV.
The Brechetto is made the same way as Moscato d’Asti btw.
I hope you take me serious here cuz these wines are truly unique and true to their terroir and traditions.

    Cheers T

QOTD: Favorite bubbly drink of all time is Ginger Ale. It used to be Canada Dry, but lately I lean more towards Blenheim’s HOT.

QOTD: 1995 Krug…. I know, I know.. duh. but after that I’d say 1998 Gaston Chiquet Special Club, and then after that I’d say the rootbeer that Fuddrucker’s in Denver CO used to have on tap.

QOTD – I really enjoy Ginger Ale and try any new bottles I can find. One of my favorite sodas was called “Aspen” which tasted like an apple flavored 7-UP – unfortunately it isn’t being made any longer…

I got very sentimental watching this show – the first wine I really liked was a moscato. Perfect introductory wine for the non-winedrinker. QOTD: allagash curieux

QOTD – By twenty years’ volume of consumption as the criterion, I’d have to say Great Lakes Burning River Pale Ale, who, coincidentally, celebrates 20 years of fine craft brewing in Cleveland this week.

So far my personal wine list (which I use when I’m browsing for something new to try) has been vacant of any sparkling wines. So I must congratulate you on helping kick start that section of the list.

QOTD: surprisingly enough, I have a bottle of my favorite “bubbly” is sitting right beside me as I write. It is available from a popular store here in Canada called Shoppers Drug Mart. It’s called “Frizzante” and the particular bottle in question is the blood orange flavour. It is a european soda style beverage and it comes in these nifty shaped bottles.
