QOTD: I was trying to give gamay another chance so I tried a Morgon at about £10, it was thin and had that Beaujolais Nouveau fake taste. Luckily I then tried the Foillard 3.14 (with pi symbol) Morgon which was like red burgundy but with that characteristic Gamay taste, excellent.

0-3 on Favre wines? awwww, Typical Brett It gave me great pleasure to watch him crash and burn this season. Ive never liked the guy. His prima donna attitude the last few years set in stone my belief that he’s a jerk. Time to retire!!!! QOTD: Cant remember the name of it ( of course ) but a German bubbly a friend gave us for Christmas. Had a bitterness to it and not much else. Yawnsville.

QOTD: 2005 Hartford Court Pinot Noir Land’s Edge Vineyards – it was on WE’s top 100 list so I bought three bottles and the first one was just totally flat and uninteresting. Hopefully the next two are better!
