if you are interested in wine in general you simply got to try these delicious german white wines. and, you got to get used to the (pretty stupid) german wine categories. and here in germany there are many people that are really into wine disliking the categories aswell!

- qualitätswein/QbA (qualiy wine)
- kabinett (treasury or cabinet of nice wines)
- spätlese (late harvest)
- auslese (selection)
- beerenausleese (selection of berries)
- trockenbeerenausleese (selection of dry berries)
- eiswein (icewine)

i prefer the 7 – 20 EURO pricerange, sometimes 25 euro. when i watch your show i'm always kind of blown away by the prices for european wine in the US in general. boy oh boy, you're – mostly – paying double the price we do!! disributor profits i guess.

for example, according to the above mentioned price range, i mostly drink QbA, kabinett, auslese sometimes spätlese. for a auslese or trockenbeerenauslese of riesling in in a small bottle (0,375) i'd pay a about 40 – 60 euros.

i think GV is doing a pretty good job on german whites, thou there could be more german wine on the show

Your “sniffy sniff” and “swooshy swish” looks cool. Your spitting looks disgusting, but it fits nicely in a pool. But really now, do you need to do it in a football helmet? You either hate or love the Jets, I cannot tell. What I can say is that your commentary is outstanding. Great job!
