    you have to give it a shot, ya know? why not try egyptian wines… we try wines from lebanon and countries like that.
    QOTD 1 – no, never had a wine from egypt, but we are working on going there over the next year or 2 and will surely try as much as possible.

    I know I drank some while living in Greece and Turkey, but that was at the age where I more concerned with quantity than quality so sadly I cannot remember any of them.

    I’ve never had any wine from Egypt. I have some wine from Morocco that I actually got from Wine Library. It’s good stuff for the price. Very much in a old world French fashion. Bummer on the schwag – I work from 3 – 11:30 PM..Oh well, next time I guess.. I watch your show after work..

    Not wine, but I remember an Egyptian beer that I think was called Stella. Somewhere around 3% alcohol but better than the water while boating down (or up, I guess) the Nile.

    Gary, never had an Egyptian wine but can recommend a North African wine I tried recently,a 2005 Syrah from Morocco called Tandem made by Alain Graillot, of Crozes fame. Costs about £8 from The Wine Society in the UK.

    Never had Egyptian wine but have tried all the best red wines from Tunisia around 10 years ago. I believe they are much better than what you tasted yesterday.

    Now we are at it: When will we hear about your Indian trip and see you taste som vino from there for instance from Grover or Sula Vineyards?

    Favorite T-shirt? Dunno – many years ago had one with my own portrait on the breast…

    QOTD2:My fav. T-shirt changes from time to time as I wear a lot of them. Right now it’s my VIKINGS shirt and I wear it with pride as we start our Superbowl run in 2008! Eat our dust Farve!

    I was told I had Egyptian wine in Gaza about 10 years ago. I wasn’t impressed. I still like my original WLTV shirt and my Mott Link it Up shirt. I don’t really know how to link them and the pictures are just on my own computer. I like Kasha but not in my wine.

    QOTD clarification: Do jerseys count as t-shirts? Is that a separate category?

    SQOTD:Loved the Egyptian wine honesty. This vlog would not be as good without that nice dose of reality. I’ve never consumed wine from that country.
