I love beer so much, and i love wine. Beer is my wife that i come home to and wine is the girlfriend i screw around with on the side, just becuase she is so hot and crazy. Anyway leaving a comment on this old episode solely for the QOTD

QOTD: My grandfather, he was my second father and an avid beer drinker. I never got to have a cold one with the guy. I wish i could.

Hi Gary, So glad to see you doing Beer. At a tasting last Fall in Minnesota I met this Belgian Guy, Johnny, who is an incredible storyteller. He introduced all these delicious tasting Belgian Beers-Piraat, Gulden Draak, Bruegel, Borem, Troubadour and Wittekerke to name a few. They call them Living Beers. The flavors are explosive.

I think you should sit down with this Johnny. Talk about PASSION, he’s insane, just like you. He tells about recipes from Monks of 1295. Thanks for doing beer. Would love to see Beer Library. Cheers. Joseph

Love the epp, glad I found it in the archive. My beer sharing person would be The Apostle Paul, Julius Ceasar, Benjamin Franklin..or my ol’ pops after he’s had a great round of golf.

excellent show, would love to see more beer, beerlibrary anyone, aslo, one small correction, altho dipas are boiled long the fermentation process is the same, ie no double fermentation, unless you count bottle conditioning and not all dipas are bottle conditions. but gary please more beer show.

A nice show, Gary & Brett…always glad when seeing people who know there’s beer (type Bud) and BEER (the real stuff) and who can appreciate it! My favourite beer is Belgian of course, the Rochefort 8 or 10, but over Summer I prefer a “bolleke” (=de koninck) or a “palmke”…as I live in Spain, I buy some crates of these beers in Belgium and take them with me when driving back after Xmas.
Just a comment for Brett : the lambiks are made in Brussels and west of it, in Pajottenland (Cantillon is almost in the centre of Brussels, but some nice ones like Boon and Drie Fonteinen are in Pajottenland-region…not south of Brussels, as you said.
QOTD : with Larry Bird or Karl Malone (being a great basketball fan), with Stevie Winwood or Warren Haynes (over a nice music conversation) or just with anyone who can enjoy beer!
