I usually watch WLTV via ipod. This is really the first time I’ve watched it on the site so I’ve been quite the “lurker” until now.

Look forward to trying some Burgundy for sure!

QOTD: My lovely and intelligent wife. We are just getting into trying new wines together and she is just as adventurous as I. Her grandparents were big wine enthusiasts so we are excited to keep wine drinking alive in our family.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I just opened up an ‘05 Joseph Drouhin Brouilly last night and was coming on to see if any Drouhin had been reviewed here, and voila! The Brouilly seems to be quite a different beast from the Pommard (never tried one). It’s very light on its feet – raspberry and sour cherry flavors in there, along with a nice floral component – not the most complex wine out there, but still an enjoyable drink – and not too shabby for $13!

QOTD: My older brother. We have similar palates but he picks up on different things than I do.

Nice show, makes me excited to explore Burgundy some more, though I’m more interested in Spain lately.

QOTD: Enjoy drinking wine with anyone who has a passion for it! Making new friends who fit that descripion all the time!

QOTD: My Father. Even though he really isn’t into wine (he loves Champagne though) he really drives to get something from the bottle! I love him!

Big ups to al the Vayniacs!
