QOTD: My drinking buddy Don. We open up a half dozen bottles and check them out. Followed by a big meal with our families. Lots of fun.

I love the cards–I can smell the bubblegum even though the cards are gumless. I have the Bring the Thunder WB–want the new green one, but probably won’t get one in Saturday’s Open House goody bag. Unfortunately can’t attend this one.

QOTD: My husband, Gary. Family and friends come in a close second.

QOTD: My wine drinking buddies!! Group of us from college started going to a football game between two schools. We’ve now been going to this football game every year for 30+ years. Started out drinking beer and margarita’s, has now evolved to great wine. We’re now working on our 3rd barrel from Crushpad, a 2006 Stagecoach Cab, a 2007 Coombsville Cab, and a 2008 Game Farm (Oakville)as a group. It’s great excuse (we live in different parts of the country) to get together more than once a year for the football game.

QOTD: With out a doubt my wife. She doesn’t care for wine, but will always go out tasting with me because she knows that I love it. She’s the best!

    Hi Gary,

I know this probably isn’t the place for such a question but I’m trying to register for the forum and it’s saying that my email address is banned. I also tried to email gary@winelibrary but got a rejection error. Are gmail addresses denied from registration or is my email address banned for some reason. I haven’t been on the forums before

Always love the views on Burgundy. If, for anything else, to learn about then ’cause God knows I certainly can’t afford them.

QOTD: My Fiance. She puts up with my wine nerdiness….although, she hates the way I drink it.

No question that it has to be my wife. She appreciates an old favorite as well as the new tastes. She has learned to enjoy the fun that comes from France. Free the grapes you jerks(Wholesalers)!

    Gary,
-Congrats on the WE “Innovator of the Year” nomination.
-Thanks for the show–info on “value” Burgs would be great–
I have hesitated to pursue Burgundies to avoid the
pricing slippery slope (or in this case, escalator).
-A flower with a “face” is the pansy or Johnny-jump-up.
-QOTD: I like to drink wine with anyone who will try anything
and won’t hesitate to say anything about the wine–
    (my sister-in-law, a loud, verbally creative, hard-drinking
attorney comes to mind as long as politics stay
    off limits).
