Again, let’s not hype the Malbecs too much or it will be another varietal that goes into the price stratosphere.

QOTD:The deli, of course! Oh okay, I’ll show my age, Bridge over Troubled Waters. Are you happy now????????

I had such high hopes for a cheap domestic malbec. C’est la vie. But hey the markets up that’s better news anyways.

    QOTD: Parsley,sage,rosemary and thyme.

QOTD: Well, since I’ve been watching your UStream videos I must say I think of “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”.

QOTD: So many memories. A big part of my life since I was like 4 years old – loads of family memories. And ‘For Emily, Wherever I May Find Her’ reminds me of my girlfriend, it’s one of our songs.

So I think of loads of good things when you say “Simon & Garfunkel”. Thanks :-)

I immediately think of the line in song “Mrs. Robinson” about Joltin Joe.

I peaked on UStream while taping. I had to leave because I prefer to watch the show on WLTV, “old school”.

I’ve been enjoying Malbec. Good food wine.

My favorite ‘budget’ show so far!
Cahors has been my latest obsession – so many great bottles for such good prices. It’s like someone had a medicine bottle of ‘concentrated new world extract’ and gave one drop to each bottle the region produces.

QOTD: I think of melancholy, rainy sunday mornings and wet fall leaves covering the streets. or something like that :)

Wow, that QOTD took me by surprise! Song: Sound of Silence — in part because my older sister had a 45 that she listened to a lot in the 60s!

QOTD: Listening to them on an old cassette player in my bedroom after school. Learning to strum the chords on my guitar.

QOTD: Sounds of Silence of course! Just like on your chalkboard.

Good show GV. I like finding under $10 every day drinking wines, and Malbec’s are usually a good choice for that.

Simon and Garfunkel–I think of Bookends, Old Friends and Sounds of Silence.
