hated the guest, hated his shirt, hated his psychophantic comments, hated the fake laughter from near the camera and hated the background noise. Apart from that, Gary tried his best and for that reason it didn’t descend into the depths of a 70 point episode.

Joe G I think you were a great guest. Reading threw these last comments I think they are way off base. One guy comments on how you need to read less and drink more??? I guess for me it is a lot easier to read about a 42 Chavel Blanc then drink one. Come on guys we are talking about 100 dollar wines here. So why is it so bad to have a little book knowledge to help out. I know it is not the same as tasting knowledge but NO one is an expert of every region and even if you are drinking a bottle a night that is only 365 wines a year which gives you what maybe 30 wines per country which is many countries gives you one wine per region.

I love people calling him a snob because he has tried to learn a few things and then ripping him for it. I think a wine snob is someone who makes fun of what other people do not know. Joe G did not come on as a Italian wine expert. I bet his wine knowledge of Canadian Niagara Wines would blow all of you out of the water.

This guy is the biggest douche ever. Were is the clips show where people try to impersonate Gary?
He dows seem to have a good palate, but the problem is that in order to know his opinion, he has to open his mouth and speak.
About half of the way through this episode, I watrted to think… Is Gary really an impersonation of this guy? He goes through the whole thing, sounding exactly like GV would, and doesn't even acknowledge that he is doing a direct imitation…>???

GV, this guy just took your style and your name, and smeared it across the concrete.
How could you let a guy on your show that is going to do an imitation of you?

I enjoyed this show and the guest..but I must jump in and add that searing a steak has nothing to do with keeping in juices. Along with the info. from the last comment, this guy seems to like to bs.
