    Hey My Momma is Joanna

My wife is gonna be a new momma!!!

The show was fascinating although Hanni seemed a bit odd. Why didn’t he hit the wine??? I don’t know if i would use the herbs/spice because isn’t the fun and skill in wine tied to the pairing and matching with food. When we get to the point of not needing to pair and try new stuff then the art might be lost.

Might have to try the Gazin if i can find it since i’m in PA
    This state sucks!!

I’ll risk seasoning food with natural ingredients instead of VIGNON. After all, isn’t half the fun getting an excellent pairing of wine with food.

QOTD: Josephine. She’s been gone for nearly 40 years, but Aunt Stella and Aunt Katie have been GREAT Godmothers!!

    Jane Kelly.
The most selfless person I’ve ever met. Anyone who knows her calls her Mom.
    Ya, that kind of person.

You’ve had a run of good shows lately. Great job Gary.

a MOW! cool. Who’s next – Sarah Palin? Good to let him tell his long story – it was nice to get to know him! cool show.

Only one wine? Asparagus? makes most #1’s smell funny. intense. Why was he not tasting the wines? Odd dude… Can you say “odd little dude?” haha. loved it! Viagra for wine… what a hoot! I get it, he wasn’t paid to taste… ha.

I had a great Malbec tonight with home made pizza on the deck with wife – great weather in Raleigh.
COME TO RALEIGH! Who do you want me to set you up with? smile. a wine store? nah. Savor Hospitality can host. I can get two Yadkinville wineries lining up the wines. A cooking/wine tasting with local NC wines.

QOTD: who’s your momma. hmm. funny.

Entertaining show! Will keep an eye out for the “magic powder” . . . though I think the idea of just seasoning the food properly (sufficient salt and acid balance). Everyone’s just so afraid of salt and fat (texture and flavor) nowadays (low sodium this, low-fat that . . . )
QOTD: June – best mom is the universe!

Great, interesting episode. Probably one of my top five episodes ever. I am gonna get some Gazin if it hasn’t sold out yet.

Also, mom is Marie. Great cook too. Vignon for her Chrismas stocking this year.

Very interesting stuff. I agree about all of the “pairing rules” being BS and to just do what tastes good. It will be interesting to see it this product lives up to the hype.
QOTD: Becky, the most amazing lady that I have ever known. And to answer the question; Yes, more than you could ever know…

I have read quite a bit about this gentleman. He’s a dedicated and a very knowledgeable source.

Being a “rookie chef” in my own right, I may need to try some of his special herbs and spices.

QOTD: My Aunt Mabel in Gray, TN. She’s my momma. Wonderful lady who saved me from the dregs of PG County in MD.

    Cheers!

P.S. His blonde wife is hot. He must have a lot of moola to land that one. :)
