The Chablis region is the northernmost wine district of the Burgundy region in France and today Gary Vaynerchuk puts these Chardonnay’s to the test, all of which come from the 2006 vintage.

    Gary-great show,no matter how my tastes evolve i always wind up back in France. This weekend i had an 06 verget chablis la butte and a 03 raspil gigondas. As always what struck me about both was the sence of place that you get nowhere else.

    Great episode! Loved the energy the show had, and it’s always good to see regions that haven’t been covered in depth yet, especially to this newbie wine drinker to find out new types I haven’t tried yet.

    QOTD: Currently drinking 2007 Konzelmann Riesling… everything they’ve said about 2007 Ontario wines so far has been spot on, and this one doesn’t disappoint.

    QOTD: I heart Napa cabs… To this day it’s still the only type of Red wine I can drink a whole bottle of (well, except maybe that Dolcetto that one time :) ).     The Oak Monster scares me away from most of these, and the fact that the Carlo Rossi jug was a fixture in my house throughout my childhood. Can’t wait for the secret pack!
