Good show. Great cause. Immediately went to the website to see if they had any Andy Erickson left and found out that you have to spend 1200 just to get a bottle. Granted, you get 12 bottles, but still… How do I get my hands on something that this guy makes for less than a kidney donation and my entire bank account????

QOTD: Favorite bottle of California wine last year was a Stags Leap Reserve Cab, I think that it was 06.

What a fantastic concept. I hope I can somehow get a bottle of it to support such a great cause. Even if I dont like it, the money is worth it. QOTD: A 2006 Tears of Dew from Paso Robles. Sorry, the sugar gets me every time.

QOTD: A tie between Saxum, Broken Stones 2005 (74% Syrah, 24% Grenache, and 2% Mourvedre)(Paso Robles) and Behrens & Hitchcock, Napa Valley Merlot 2004 – generally not a big right bank/merlot person, but this blew me away.

QOTD: 2004 Sebastiani Cherryblock Cabernet Sauvignon and 1997 Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve.
I’d love to try an Abreu wine. My mother’s maiden name is Abreu so I’m sure we’re related somehow.

Great show and a tremendous cause. They sound like wonderful wines and so I went to their website to make a purchase and found that they do not ship to Ohio (or New Jersey for that matter) so I cannot make a purchase. Too bad.

QOTD: The best Cali wine I had this year was a 2003 Garretson Reliquary Red.
