Gary Vaynerchuk tries 3 very interesting wines in a format he is far more accustomed to. The format you see today is reminiscent to the way Gary and many other wine buyers BUY wine for their establishments!

Good show! It coincides nicely with our next wine tasting of Beaujolais on November 21st. (no noveau)

    awesome show!
Had my first bottle of gewurz a week ago – LOVED it. seriously floral and peachy.

QOTD: Are there any days when you don’t consume ANY wine at all? I mean, not even tasting?

QOTD- the only thing I’ve ever seen you do that really pissed me off is eat foie gras, so I’d ask you how you can possibly think there’s nothing evil about that! (That’s presuming you’re not consciously trying to be evil, which you’re obviously not cos you’re still a great guy!) But still. Really immoral stuff.

Tell me what you are passionate about. I have gotten away from Beaujolais for a while now as most of what i get her is DeBouef and I’m not fond of his wines. Give me a good Moulin a Vent though and I will run with it.

Good show Gary, One of my best buds used to be a wine distributor, it was awesome watching him work it.

QOTD: That’s a good one, I don’t know, I’d probably just talk about freakin wine and football…perhaps steaks.

    My three favorite things!

QOTD: What are your dream projects over the next couple years? WLTV has been such a phenomenon, what new Thunder storms do you see on the horizon.
    Great show!

Bonus QOTD to Gary: Since you did a very fine job of describing the virtues of the underappreciated gamay noir, may I also ask you what other ignoble varietals you enjoy, that deserve more respect than they presently get. Speaking for myself, I happen to be a big fan of well-made Sylvaner and Pinot Auxerrois (if you can find it).

Gary, are you talking about American Muenster cheese, which has a pretty mild flavor, or the funky, stinky Alsatian Munster cheese?

QOTD: What’s a good German red wine? I’m studying in Germany, and even these Germans don’t think they have good red wine.

QOTD: What’s your favorite food and wine pairing?

Yes I also recognized the Dave Batista figurine. It was very good to see a Beaujolais Cru get some publicity. Sounds like a truly excellent wine.

If I am not mistaken, Gewurztraminer means spicy grape. Although for spiritual reasons I do not eat shellfish, I have read that this kind of wine goes very well with raw oysters, a good substitute for muscadet or fino sherry. That wine looked delicious too.

QOTD to Gary: What wines do you drink purely for pleasure, guilt-free? And, are you planning any visits with videotaping to the Alsace region?

Great change of pace with this show. I might have to check out the Moulin since it sounds like Brickhouse’s Gamay that I really like, but really haven’t liked much of the normal Beaujolais. I hope the beard gets started this thursday and lasts til December 28 when I get a late Christmas gift from Mr. Parcells.

QOTD: This is a tough one as there are a few, but I would go with this:
Given that you seem to be all over the place these days and put yourself out in the public eye, does it ever feel that you have time to just be yourself?

QOTD: What is your favorite beer? LOL.

Good show, Gary. I like the mixed-theme as well.
QOTD: I sometimes have a bad feeling, sitting in front of my screen and doing my programming, typing, aswering work, while others around me work more visible, more easy to notice. Do you know that the feeling?

Gary, love the show. I watch whenever I get the chance. But sometimes when I don’t have time I skip through to find your take on the Jets (predictions, comments) cause I LOVE when you talk jets football. Just a suggestion– you should put a little divider (like you do for each wine) on the navigation bar for when you talk jets football.

    QOTD: Ty law– :) ? :( ?

    Gary,
    Great show.
My question for you would be, Where do you see yourself in 2, 5, 10 years. At the heart of that is do you see yourself more in motivation, web 2.0, wine, or all of the above.

QOTD- What is it like to be living in your dream job?

Show idea- For those of us who don’t decant, could you do a show with three bottles- one pop and pour, one open for hour, one open three hours. Interesting for me because the closest I get to decanting is having a glass the next day

QOTD — do you see a (near) future for ‘lunch wines’? (good wines under 12% alcohol)?

Gary…What can I, you or we do to challenge the Illinois wine shipping laws? Michigan has laws similar to Illinois which were just successfully challenged in court. Thanks! Get to Work!

QOTD: easy question, Gary… tell me about growing up a vaynerchuk… favorite trips, events, and the story or two about you that always is told at the Thanksgiving table.

Here… let me pour you a glass and we’ll just chat…..
