Castell Roig Brut rose cava (100% trepat) is the best rose cava I’ve ever had, it’s unique. Gary V you tasted the Xarello on the show before – great winery.

Happy birthday, Gary!

Threes are GOOD (33—Wow…that was a long time ago!). Melancholy day for me (Nov. 14th). I lost my wonderful Mom one year ago Friday. I am raising a glass (or three) of Casillero del Diablo Carmenere (Concha Y Toro—can’t believe how reasonable it was, especially at our archaeic PA state store) to her as I type. YUM!!

Anyway—GO JETS!! I don’t really care what the score is, just that they beat those cheating Pats!! As an avid Steeler fan, can’t help but detest Bill B. and his crew. UGH!!

Would love to be able to purchase a secret pack someday…somewhere, over the rainbow. Did I mention I live in PA?? Maybe in my next life. Ditto on the UGH!!

Happy anniversary, too! What a weekend to celebrate, eh? What are you popping for the occasion(s)? Enjoy!

Herman Story is new to me and I like the way you handled it – your approach was clearly spoken, and it feels like I totaly get it. Ditto on the Meandro. I’d probably dig on each of them, despite their dramatic differences.

Portuguese wines are always nice, cause they stay closer to earthiness, and dry elements -never all jammy and fruity like the new world. For this reason , I categorize them as “real” and “honest” – wines that an old guy from Europe would drink. Incidentally, in the romance languages like Italian, French , and Portuguese, wherever there is an accent mark, that’s where the inflection, or emphasis is, hence Meao = May-OWW. We learn from you, as I hope you may learn from us… and in the world of wine, one should hope to continue learning every day.(With a thanks for all you bring to the table!)

Me picking a score is about as accurate as the people who play lottery numbers, hence, a waste of time. Hope the jets do it for ya – esp. on your Special day… cheers.

I HAVE HAD THE 2004 VERSION OF THE JARDIN AND IT IS ONE OF MY WIFE’S AND MY FAVORITE WINES. WE FOUND IT VEGETAL AS WELL, HOWEVER WHEN YOU OPEN THE BOTTLE IT WAS VERY SMOKY WHICH WE LOVED AND IT LOST THE SMOKINESS AS IT SAT OPEN. I AM EAGER TO TRY THE 2005.

Listen bro I the show and you hooked me up the other day helping me with a site I am launching BUT I have to say I think that I predict the Pats ALL THE WAY winning 31-27 with at least 4 turnovers probably about 3 interceptions and 1 fumble by Favre!
