Great show! Sometimes I wonder if you hate all California wines, but in this show, you gave a little shout out at the beginning, which was nice, and really enjoyed a few of them. Phew! I was getting worried for the American wine industry, but, I can be at ease now.

QOTD: Nope, I like the mixture. Blinds are good, but I like various formats.

Yes, please do many more blind tastings in 2009. You don’t have to go 100%, but at least 2 per week would be great.

QOTD: Definitely blind for all “mainstream” varietals (Cab, Chard, etc.). Non-blind for off the beaten track varietals.

QOTD: I think you should do a blind tasting with an actual blindfold on. Let us see the wine, but not you. That would be different. Oh, and i say no to the whole year thing, but the blind tastings are very cool, so keep them up.
