Great show! Thanks for bringing great content every day! What’s with the end of the show credits: “WINELIBRARYV.com? QOTD: I am so blessed to have my dream job, lots of sacrifices along the way, but it’s all worth it!

hi Guys, nice guest, love her accent, wish I had heard more of her in french…

QOTD: President of the United States…. and Kristen, by the way, you are very, very good looking.

Truly enjoyed Kristen you both seem so passionate, not just wine but with life.
I cannot think of a dream job, I must be content working in an elementary school, it is rather humbling getting a big hug from a 6-7 year old.

QOTD: My dream job would be something to do with the wine industry of course but my real dream would be rich enough to not need a job!

Gary remember, by european standards, 8 euros is not a cheap wine. all my friends in
France only drink wines under 5 and they can be very very good.

Lets be honest.. you always say to trust your palate. 2002 is not a terrible vintage. its just not great.
As many people say . trust the winemaker more than the vintage

My dream job would be having Alfred Hitchcock’s job from 1949 to 1965…or owning a restaurant from which I did not (necessarily) have to make a living (Preston Sturges…Robert Deniro) but just got to surf the vibe. I have hypothesized that my Catholic middle school basketball coaches – in their failure to transform my blinkless enthusiasm but (then) non-comprehension of the game into something more, denied my generation their ‘other’ Steve Kerr (unstoppable jump shot as long as no one came anywhere near me)…But, honestly, in terms of freedom, fulfillment, daily good eats and inspiring companionship…my current job isn’t too bad.

Hey What were the results of the suggestions for future show topics? Where any decisions made? Just curious.

Very nice episode. You’re a natural, Kristen! I can see you hosting a wine program: Maybe “Wine School TV” or perhaps “This Old Winery”? :) (I’m not kidding about you being host of a wine program, though!)

QOTD: If it were only for 24 hours, I’d take a break from my daily dream job(s) and either drive a Formula One race car or ride in a steeplechase.

cool episode, anything that makes me think of moving to France is great by me.

    QOTD: Adventure Guide/Sommelier/Cage fighter!

p.s. I wish I could eat dinner with this many people who loved wine every weekend!

I really enjoyed the show. Your guest brings a fresh perspective and good knowledge. She seems like an intriguing person. I wish her the best of luck in her promising career. I would enjoy hearing more about her experiences making wine in France.

My dream job: being a professional bon vivant. How about being someone who is independently wealthy and restores great chateaux situated on the Loire river while dabbling a good bit in wine. Mix in making some sort of positive contribution to society, and I think that is whom I would like to be.

QOTD: I guess working at a winery in the fermentation room. I am a biochemist/science nerd and i love my eukaryotes that give us wine.

I just watched an episode from a couple of weeks ago. Gary, you said you would do a Michigan wine show. Should I email some wineries and help get the ball rolling. Wonderful job Kristin, but I am a spartan and I am not able to appreciate badgers. Sorry, but brilliant job.

QOTD: I actually am already working in my dream job.

    Lance Bradstreet

    QOTD –

    Dream scenario / job.

I get the call on the bat phone, its Warren, “Lance we need ya kid!” The very next day Warren Buffet announces me as the new CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, and we all ride of into the sunset!

    Great Show! Great Question!

What a cutie. Love that youthfull energy and exhuberance. And the fact that she loves wine….she’s a keeper.

QOTD: My dream job would be to open a little wine & cheese shop in my favorite neighborhood in Chicago.

Fantastic episode. Loved the guest, loved the rocks, loved the extreme lengths that you went through to get the shot of the different colors in the wines.

Oh, and for all of menfolk who found yourself fawning for Kristen–you should know that she also plays the flute brilliantly and makes an excellent beer biscuit. :)

Good show. I enjoy all of the good looking guests lately. Distracts us from your familiar mug!! They are mush more pleasing to the eye.

QOTD: What I am doing now, but in Singapore or Bangkok. Awesome places.

  23. November 25, 2008

    Robert Howells

My dream job would be to work the floor at Wine Library with Gary and sell wine from 6:00am until midnight 7 days a week

yaaaay!!! Badgers + Bordeaux = the BEST wine pairing ever (WI is my alma mater in case you weren’t sure). QOTD: as much as we all knock ‘em, being a wine critic wouldn’t suck.
