    1. Was your ‘aging quarterback’ comment (greying, new team) referring to #4?
    2. I’m almost liking the beard at this point!
    3. QOTD: I don’t know much about either, but I’m going to break the trend and go Thundercats only because the kids in Ghostbusters 2 really dissed the Ghostbusters in favor of He-Man.

    He-Man without a doubt…

Thanks for the low-down on Dolce

I’ll try to find the Clio, even though it’s a little out of my normal price range (I try to hang in the less than $20 range). Gotta tell you the truth, as a kid, I never played with any of those action figures, so I can’t comment on that. I was born in 1960, so we played with little plastic army men and GI Joe, that was about it. Except I did have a cool Evil Knieval (sp?) with a motorcycle.

QOTD: I’m going to have to say He-man was the coolest, while Mum-rah, Liono, Panthro and Chetara were really cool figures, and cool in there own right, nothing can toucb how cool He Man figures were, case of point, one word; Stinkor.

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving day as well. Enjoyed the episode.

QOTD – No real favorite but I think He-Man was just a little better.

    Missed the Clio!!!!!

I called an hour after I got the email and it was gone.

Unlike Randi I don’t have any and won’t be breaking out any on these holidays.

    :(

I liked Thundercats more. Everyone knows Skeletor, but I liked Mumm-ra. My favorite was Orco.

    Cheers to all the Vaniacs!

QOTD: Though far in my mind, I remember loving the Thunder Cats much more than He-man. I still love cats today, though mine are pretty quiet…:)

great show, lots of info, thanks for sharing.
was hoping you could devote a show to the great wines that are imported by louis/dressner and Jenny&Francois. also, hope to be able to get them at WL sometime.

Clio was the single biggest allocation headache I’ve had in my wine career. Retailers would offer their first borns for a case. Jorge is an evil genius for the american market.

    QOTD: He-Man fo sho

    QOTD:

I have absolutely no clue . . . did a quick Google and there are a huge number of He-man sites compared to Thundercats, so it looks like He-man is the popular choice. But hey, if someone prefers Thundercats, then more power to ‘em!

qotd: Thundercats hands down. Lion-O would have beat He-Man’s butt!

  19. November 26, 2008

He-Man is way better than ThunderCats.

Great show Gary. I’m glad to hear the 2006 is more like the 03 and 04. I agree the 05 was good but not nearly as good as the others. Happy Thanksgiving
