This was probably one of my favorite shows that you’ve ever done. I can’t wait to try out some candy bar/wine pairings of my own!

QOTD: Karl’s is Snickers. Mine is probably Twix, but I also love Whatchamacallits when I can find them! And at Halloween, I enjoy Mallow Cups. You can’t find those usually.

I’m not much of a sweet tooth but ya gotta love the Almond Joy bars, never tried pairing it with wine though.
Can’t wait to try the Cantus Carmenere! There’s a pretty good one for about $10 called Castillero del Diablo that seems pretty available in So. CA, that’s the only one i’ve tried though…

QOTD – I have to stand up for my Canadian roots and declare the ‘Coffee Crisp’ to be the best candy bar of all time. It’s like a fat coffee flavored Kit Kat. Oh my gawd. Not the best chocolate I’ve ever had, but definitely the best ‘dime store’ candy bar.

This was one of my favorite shows ever. I noticed you picked wines from Italy & South America, but all your candy was from the US. Maybe you could do another chocolate show, & feature high end chocolates from around the world?

This is a difficult question, since any candybar covered in chocolate is good. I’ve loved Lindt chocolate and Cadbury nuts and fruit, but also the smooth Dove bar! All the ones you mentioned, too, Hershey’s and Ghiradelli are my favorites also.

NO CONTEST!?!?! It has to be the SKOR Bar, an obscure little candy bar that has been my fav for years.

Just to vent: The second Denver score was pure robbery, I mean did you see Favre’s face when they called it a TD? I think that really took the wind out of his sails. And don’t even get me started on faking injuries, Shanahan should be called Shinanigan!!!
