What a range of opinions on the first part..I didn’t really go either way. I will see how the second part hits me.

Well an interesting episode. Will look at part 2 just to see just how tipsy she gets.

I have watched every episode of WLTV since I had discovered it and almost caught up with all episodes, BUT will not watch part 2. love you Gary, awful guest, PR company put you up to this?

I found this episode not at all interesting and did not even watch the second part. Sorry GV, they can’t all be gems.

Man- this was the FIRST episode i HAD to STOP. (and probably not even going to bother with the 2nd episode). No chemistry, just awkward like the Cyprusian Red you’re about to show next episode.
Gotta be selective with the guests! (This was just ‘bad programming’ after Maynard and Jancis!!)

Great show Gary. Why are people talking about Ingrid being tipsy? She is drinking wine for God’s sake. She was refreshing and fun to watch! She brought some lightning to complement the thunder! It’s all about having fun, don’t forget that Vayniacs.

Gary, I loved this show and can’t understand why so much negative comment. Sure, Ingrid Hoffman was already tipsy as the show began, and also very flirty to you and the camera–what a change to see Gary have to be the adult!

And as an earlier poster pointed out, that spit wine/food analogy was a new take on bulemia.

Now to gewürztraminer: I didn’t view the earlier episodes you made with Zmor, but I hope you pointed out to anyone who couldn’t get Zmor in his local wineshop and decided to sub another California gewürztraminer, DON’T!
Most Cali g’s are sweet nothings. Zmor is fermented completely out–no residual sugar–and has some of the spice, though not the minerality, of European examples. And while Alsace is nice, Ingrid maybe inadvertently pointed out that the keyword is “Traminer,” the town (OK, Tramin) in Italy’s Alto Adige region where the grape variety originated. I’m sipping ‘07 Tarczal
Tramino and Manchego cheese as I type this, and I ain’t spittin’ it out!

Hmm…I was thinking more Mexican food: how to pair wine with an enchilada, for example!!

    Gary!

    . . . “trash-bucket”! . . . WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! . . . okay, now I’ve got to go back to finish watching the rest of the episode . . .

    Ingrid is hot too.

Interesting how controversial she was. I had to turn it off, personally. Taking 20 minutes to decide what year her restaurant opened was too much.

She’s a hoot! never heard of her before, now I’m hooked. TIVO! Ingrid is entertainment! Like a Kelly Ripa with boobs and brains!

Great show. nice to pair food to wine, especially finger food or veggies and fruits. cool.

G…Please advise her to drink and not spit. I REALLY want to see her tipsy. Come on, Dude….drink the wine…it WILL be worth it.

I liked the show- guests break things up a bit and are fun. Latin foods and wine is a great topic. Thanks for expanding our palates again. I think people are being too hard on Ingrid, if every guest was the same it would be boring. Ingrid was fun and positive and brought her own unique perspective to the show.

Awful. To think of all of the talent in the food world that you have picked…

Wow…2 things I don’t do nearly enough…. experiment pairing different foods with wines, and getting mega hot young ladies loopy

Thanks for another good episode. I like the theme.
Gary, I must again mention Madeira. I’d love to see a show on it with a vintage dated bottling at the end.
