I have been downing a lot of store brand (Publix) cookies and cream ice cream lately. I have been a Vanilla fan for a long time but lately cookies and cream has drawn my taste buds.

Fun episode. QOTD: I love good chocolate. My favorite dessert is a tiny molten chocolate lava cake. Hot chocolate cake with gooey melted chocolate sauce on the inside, and maybe a little scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. So good.

I’ve been slacking. Sorry, Mott. I eat mostly fruit for dessert. As far a “true dessert”, though, I guess that a good fruit pie or cheesecake would be my preference.

Verry cool show though I must say I love the Moscata di Asti much more than the 84 pts you gave it but hey, my palate is a rookie compared to yours.

QOTD: Tough one but I gotta go with creme brulee in Paris. Pair with that Sauterne you just reviewed and I would be in dessert heaven.

Off to buy a bottle of that Sauterne and yes, your boys really, really were lucky.

    Cheers!

P.S. If by chance the Colts plays the Jets in the playoffs, we have to meet at the game.

QOTD: Egotism reigns but I like two of my original desserts the best because they are show desserts that BRING the taste aqlong with them. They are: Chocolate Triflemisu and Raspberry Ttifle (without any yucky jello)

My apologies – the Sauternes looks like a fantastic bargain at $40 – and just in time for Christmas too, thank you Gary.

QOTD – zabaglione, with a glass of marsala.

    Gary,

Great to see you doing a New Jersey wine.

    You need to do more.

When I first logged on I was unable to leave a comment for some reason. It is good to see a wine from New Jersey make it to the show. That Moscato for a simple wine sounds pretty good too. Congrats to the Jets – yes it was a close call.
