Paumonok Vineyards out on Long Island makes a pretty good Chenin Blanc as well. Sells out fast every year.

Great Show – love the tidbits! Thanks for starting 09 with the thunder!

I love the Pinot Blanco – I’ve had it blended with a Tocai from the Fruili region and it is awesome!!!

QOTD: Never a big gumm chewer – had braces when I was younger so it sucked when it got stuck!!

I haven’t had gum in forever. Last time I remember having good gum was either Bubble Tape or Big League Chew, Grape or Original.

Good show. I also like the first wine – had it just last month! Love the label!

Pinot Bianco – Will seek it out. We have a luna di luna pinot bianco locally. $9. hmm.

QOTD: bubble gum, sugarless. not bubblicious, though, as that goes into lava melt down quickly in my palate. smile.

I have never tried a Savennieres. I’ll have to look a couple of these up at my local wine shop. A new shop just opened up near me and has an awesome selection. Picked up a couple fun finds (’o3 Silver oak – Cab Sav.).

QOTD #2 – I like Bazooka Joe. Can’t go wrong with any gum that gives you comics and gum.

Wrigley’s Sugar Free Polar Ice………Packs a up front punch in your grill piece! Very dazzling star like mid pallet…..with a longggggggggggg fresh air finish !

Gary, tell us what you really think about the Pinot Blanco ! Now if I can find the damn stuff around here.

I think a few nice Maps in the background and a laser pointer so we have a visual of were the wine your talking about; comes from! A picture is worth a thousand words.

I’ve had some Savennieres wines – but the absolute top chenin has been Joly’s Clos de la Coulée de Serrant 2002 which I had a few months ago.

Last October I visited the Russiz Superiore Az. Agr. and had the opportunity to sit down with Roberto Felluga and taste some of their wines and I have to say that here was no weak wines in the line up. Other truly noticeable wineries (that I visited)in the Friuli region were on my opinion Schiopetto and Vigne di Zamo. They both had a sense of terroir and showed consistency in the quality of their products. A fine region – especially for white wine lovers.

Brilliant episode! I try to bring some of that excitement to my elementary school classroom–when the kids are excited and engaged, they don’t even realize they are learning! Just like when we watch you bring The Thunder.

QOTD: What was that soft gum, pieces were shaped like rounded-off squares, with minty gel on the inside? I loved that stuff in the mid-late 80s! Nowadays, my dentist says to have something with xylitol, and I usually pick up original Trident. Guess the flavor is alright, as the husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary yesterday!

QOTD: Every been to Tijuana Mexico? chicles! Okay, not my favorite gum but it does expand the gum palate. Or is that gum up the palate…

Inky-dinky-doo!!!! Man, we thought Pete Incaviglia was going to be so great in TX. In one of his 1st Spring Training games he ripped a liner that broke the outfield fence (admittedly a very old rotten fence in Pompano Florida) But, of course, instead he struck out alot.
