Congratulations to you and Lizzie!

Four pieces of advice:

1) Savor every moment for they grow up WAY too fast.
2) Travel less – trust me on this one!
3) Prediction: You will be too concerned with doing everything “right” with your first child. Don’t be. They are resilient. Also, you will try to protect your child from everything bad in the world (of course). You will fail. It is okay. They will learn from the bad as well as the good.
4) In any situation that occurs, try not to overreact (you will anyway).

Best of luck on the next phase of your life.

BTW, why was there no Thunder Show for almost a week?

My wife just gave birth to our second child on Jan 2nd. and it’s so wonderful to be holding a baby again! I missed that. My first, Logan, is 5 now so it’s been a while.

Since you’re having a baby, this would be the perfect time to do a show on what wine to put away for your kids, maybe even other beverage suggestions as well, like scotch or whiskey…
