Bogle continues to be that *darling* of a wine that nobody wants to admit to drinking. A guilty pleasure, if you will. I’ll bet you a hundo that if their Old Vine Zin was in that big blind Zin episode you did a while back, it woulda killed.

QOTD: This is one of the toughest final four to pick in a looonnng time. So many intangibles, yet so many similarities. BUT, I’m gonna go: Cards/Steelers. I just don’t see Flaco bringing it home and I do see Warner one upping McNabb. All-in-all, I think it’s going to be some great football.

Big G, Now Bogle I can do, In these jacked up times.

QOTD: Cards / Pitt and Pitt by a lot in the SB.

We have had a few Bogals in the past, that were not too impressive, but never the Petite Sirah. I will look forward to it soon.
I just love it when an $8 to $10 bottle of wine beats the crapola out of the big boys.

    QOTD: Eagles-Steelers

I’m finding that the lower priced wines are often winning my tasting parties these days.

QOTD: I am still going with my preseason prediction. Chargers over the Giants Merriman and Rivers are co-mvps of the superbowl and Giants fans ask how the hell did we end up with Shelie Manning. Check that Eagles over Ravens. Now I’m depressed thanks Gary.

Link it up Chris… I’m about to! Link it up Chris… that’s what I was born to do!”

Very nice episode. I’ll try that Bogle for $8.00. Congats, again GV, super cool.

QOTD: I don’t care Giants plaxified their chances so I don’t care.

    Cards vs. Steelers

Tough to win 3-straight vs. Ravens, but Steelers can do it.

Hold on, when’s the last time you wore the same shirt for two consecutive shows? Just noticed. Am I right? I know you probably did it for a special, unannounced prize to the first to notice.

;) Another solid show for the future First Dad of Wine

You liked the Bogle even a bit more than I did. I agree, good QPR. I wonder if too many places are getting into Petite Sirah without really understanding it

I’m hoping for the Eagles, but I won’t bet on it!

    QOTD: Steelers/Cardinals for sure.

Good one. I recommend you try the Bogle with fish and shrimp tacos, No Joke, actually bad petite syrah will do as well as the pairing usually brings a little more out of them: Grilled white corn tortillas, light chilli sauce, and tomato-ey Marin/Shrimp stew with lettuce and cilantro bits, YUUUM !

Its going to be an all Pennsylvania super bowl and there might not be any Tampa Bay left after its over.

OK, you got me. I’m going to have to go home and crack open a Petite Sirah from my cellar. I’m always happy when the cheaper wine comes out on top – that’s what I’m watching for!
