The beauty of PUglia is that there are so many indigenous and unique varieties. Negroamaro is one of the most ancient brought here in Puglia at the Greek time. Also Primitivo, Sussumaniello, Malvasia, Nero di Troia are very interesting. Let me know if you ever come to Puglia. I would love to show you around. I just served the 06 at my Cigar Tasting Birth Day Party March 28, 2010. However I am in love with the 05 Tormaresca Negramoaro 70%/Cabernet 30%. I have been searching all over the country. So far no luck. If you liked the Negramoaro/Primative, wait till you get a load of the 05. Any help??????? I have tasted this wine. Not expensive at all, great quality. 140 vineyards working together.
