I also LOVE the Tantalus Riesling! Will be tasting some Quail's Gate tonight at a Vancouver event, I'll be sure to get a good "sniffy-sniff" of the Pinot, will see if the current vintage is as bacon-ey as the 2006... I was at Quails Gate last week and did a tasting of the Pino Noir. When I told the tour guide I got a strong nose of prosciutto he looked at me like i was retarded and dismissed it completely! Enjoyed the tour and the wine anyway, and I totally recommend it for anyone touring wineries in the Okanagan. Glad to hear you get the bacon on the nose as well, Gary.
