QOTD 1: I think it would smell like electricity.
QOTD 2: Definitely one big finger because I could give everyone the finger.

Great show, very real. Would like to see more non-wine, food people on your show once and a while.

GV – decent how. I actually thouht that your guests were witty. I did not learn much about wine, which is OK.

QOTD(s) – I like her bangs, I would prefer having one big fnger to one big tooth, the wine concoction that Sara spelled out would be horrible (pronounced like the Simon on American Idol).

College Humor? More like Pathetic Donkeys. This is the first episode of WLTV I haven’t been able to watch all the way through. Please Gary, give wanker guests like this a major pazzzzzz in the future.

I’ve never seen this show before and just watched because of Streeter and Sarah, but I thought it was great. I don’t know a thing about wine either, so it was entertaining for me. I’m excited to keep watching… who know learning about wine could be so much fun!

…as opposed to the numerous sparkling red wines from Portugal?!?! Geeez Kent, and we were going to make you king of the winter carnival!

I thought this episode totally sucked! Those were 2 of the most annoying guests and I give you credit for getting through it.
It was almost impossible to get through it and when it was over, I was pissed that I had wasted 31 minutes of my life.
Gary, love what you do but leave the kiddies home!

This was painful to watch… an appalling episode. It had nothing to do with wine…
Normally I’m a big fan of the guest-episodes, but this was meaningless.

    that was pretty sick.
    QOTD1: Daryl Strawberry.

QOTD2: The tooth. But I’d really like to be a cyclops instead.

Watching this episode after watching the episode with a James Beard Awarded Chef I feel that my IQ has lowered quite a bit…no offense, guys. I was your age once and I remember what it was like but, I just can’t identify at this point in life…

    That being said:

QOTD2: I would take the one big tooth. You definitely wouldn’t have to worry about all the others…just replace the one when you need to. AWESOME!!!

A big finger on one hand would be a great punching tool. Although you would inevitably stub it on something, get fucking painful hangnails, and clippers would suck balls with it. One giant tooth, just one, great for dominating cheerios.

I’ve been so super busy “crushing it” that I haven’t watched much WLTV in the last few weeks. I tuned into this episode to check out the CH peeps intending only to watch a few minutes and it was so crazy I ended up watching the whole thing!! Great episode! And you know I had to go out and get a couple of bottles of the 2006 Palestra Douro for my Superbowl party! Thanks for the tip. I’ll @garyvee you my thoughts after the game!!

EPISODE #45: you scored the San Felipe Cab 89 points, and it cost 6.99
I just watched that episode and was shocked to see such a similarity in score and price. You should revisit the San Felipe to see how it is these days.
    Thanks GV!

This is the first episode I’ve seen and I only came across the site thanks to Streeter’s blog (which I creepily check too often). But I can say that I’m glad I did find it. After watching, I went out in hopes of getting a bottle of the Portuguese, but my local liquor store only carries three Portuguese wines – none of which are the Palestra Douro. I got the only red Portuguese they had – Loios 2007 Vinho Regional Alentejiano. $11 and not bad. (I also picked up a Spanish Cab Sav that I’m pretty excited about.)

The owner of the store was saying that different states have different imports so they don’t get too many from Portugal. I guess NY got the shaft. I miss Jersey.

Best episode in a while. These commenters just need to get their heads out of their asses. You can be a wine aficionado and not an arrogant, boring bastard at the same time.

Actually, Andy Rooney’s comment was mean. The real Andy Rooney would never be that mean. You guys are mean.

    P.S. I like Boone’s Farm.

I enjoyed the episode. I’ll definitely have to try the Portuguese wine!
