QOTD 1: I wish I could afford some
QOTD 2: Danny – Adam’s Satisfaction was cringeworthy – don’t know wy the judges liked it so much Karaokemungous!

Lovin’ the casual home episode. Nice to see you chilling at home.

QOTD: Need to get my Pomeral on. Part 2: The hottie blondie with the tatoos!!!!

Probably already mentioned; For Pomerol Parker has 2001 at “90″; 2003 at “84″ both are “early”:http://www.erobertparker.com/newSearch/vintageChart1.aspx

With all the love for NJ, surprised to see you live in an apt in NYC; but then again you are a baller.

QOTD: I’m all for Pomerol, thanks for the additional facts; and have been extremely fortunate enough to taste a Petrus at a dinner I was at once….amazing stuff.

QOTD2: I think the American Idol winner will be one of the following three: Adam, Alison or Matt. I think that Alison is a touch too young (even though she doesn’t come accross as such)whereas the experience that Matt has at the piano bar and being a performer (plus he can jam the keys) has me thinking he’ll nudge out Adam.

    Hey man,

Great to see you doing so well! Been raving to wine buddies about your show. You know I’m a Bourbon man myself, but still awesome production! Rob got some of your books to me, wonderful read as well.

QOTD: My thoughts on Pomerol are that I hope to one day have enough money to justify buying a couple bottles of Petrus.

QOTD 2: Don’t watch American Idol

    QOTD1: Never had a Pomerol

QOTD2: The person with the most votes ;)

QOTD 1: There are a few producers that lean more heavy on the cab franc in Pomerol and thats what i tend to look for. However, the wines of this appellation tend to be out of my price range.

    QOTD 2: dont watch

BTW what are those 3 ring binders in the tv stand filled with?

I don’t know how long the tab for “Gary’s Ratings” has been up on the site, but I just took a peek, and it’s super helpful, a perfect addition to the website.

    QOTD1: Haven’t had any Pomerol :(
QOTD2: Haven’t watched a single episode of the new season…

    Hi Gary:

Your timing is incredible. This past week and this one, we’ve tried the GazĂn 03, and could not agree more with your assessment of it. We enjoyed it very much, everybody should try it. Price quality is excellent for a great Pomerol. Thanks for your review!!!

    Hector…

Coming in a little late on this episode…well better late then never!!

Great show Gary, love your “pad” Lizzy keeps a nice place…LOL!!

QOTD: I just love Pomerols. This is one region in Bordeaux that has always fascinated me…they have just the right soil and climate their to make these unbelievable wines…I could just go on and on and one….LOVE THEM!!

QOTD 1: I haven’t had a Pomerol, but I’ll seek it out now.
QOTD 2: If America has any sense, Danny Gokey will win in a landslide. Nobody comes close!

QOTD1: Never had it, never been there. Am willing to try though.
QOTD2: That guy Adam something. Paula almost diddled herself when he was singing.

Love Pomerol. Love Merlot. Adam Lambert wins. How big is your wine cooler? Is that your only “cellar” besides the winelibrary of course? How long is your upper limit to keeping a bottle in the cooler. Just looking to get one of my own, so I am interested in your EXPERT opinion. Loved the show as always.

    Great epi and wines!
QOTD1: Pomerol…small and a classy appelation producing wines with great finesse and elegance like a feminine styled Bordeaux, yet not tainted by descriptive classes/rankings. Hence, great traditional wines once again!

    QOTD2: Adam L?

QOTD1: Never had a Pomerol but from the way you described the 2nd bottle, I have a friend that I think would love one as a gift.

QOTD2: don’t watch AI – Lost baby! Oh, and A’s baseball baby ;)

QotD: Pomerol, I have a bottle or two in the fridge, don’t really know a lot about the little commune, but as I study Bordeaux I’m sure it’ll come up a few times :-)

As for Idol, Adam is going to take it.. however, he’s going to get voted off and the judges will invoke the new rule, save him, and he’ll go on to win!!!

QOTD2: Danny Gokey will win American Idol, but will then flop when he puts out his first record. Sorry.

Gary goes old school and gives us a blog that looks like 99% of the videos on the internet. He’s just a guy sitting in his living room drinking. Awesome.

Great to hear Shout out for Manchester UK!

And i am holding you to the English wines episode!

Yet another suprise in the new format, but love it!

Pomerol has never been an area that grabs me, but i will have to go and see what we have in my shop that jumps out! Thankyou for opening my eyes… yet again!

Forgot to say thanks for sharing from your personal collection. Too bad one was a let down.

Nice to see that you bash yourself for being wrong on the longevity of a wine. That’s something that only time will tell for sure. Don’t beat yourself up too much.

I too am interested in what size of cellar you manage at home and/or if you also keep some at work? Hey you might not even drink wine when your at home and just have a couple bottles for company. That’s it right, you’ve got a small keg of Pabst in the pantry, at room temp, for after work. He he

good show. Its always nice to see pomerol get more love

question uno: I love pomerol. It just exudes sex and velvet for me when I drink them. They can get so ridiculously good when they age too, and its a lot of fun to drink well aged merlot as it just brings something completely different

    Pomerol = delicious

    American Idol = Danny Gokey

    The Lurk Monster

Good show, short and sweet. I have not yet had a Pomerol because I am a CKC and we don’t have very much money.

I am going Michael Sarver for AI.
