Thanks for the blind tasting episode…and 5 is my favorite number as well FWIW.

Also please don’t judge all Michigan wines by this crap that MSU somehow pumped out, who knows where they even get their grapes from…

QOTD: Always has to be your alma matter, right? If not they treated you wrong, therefore the Broncos of Western Michigan University have my eternaly loyalty even though they’re in a mid-major conference (MAC).

Great show Gary…I’m curious as to how many schools have winerys as part of their A&M programs. Probably not too many, but none the less, great idea for a show.

hmm. My college was Kent State. They shoot people there. Maybe if the hippies had given out wine instead of flowers, it would have ended differently.

MSU makes great basketball, not so much teh wine … but they did start the Michigan industry. Try some L.Mawby sparkling wine for the good stuff.

To Gretchen the Wolver-winer: at least MSU know how to make wine and play basketball, too!

University of Kentucky WILDCATS! Coach Cal will be bringing back the thunder to UK basketball. Go Big Blue! Gary, I emailed you months ago about doing a bourbon tasting. I think you said something in your reply about coming to the Derby. That plan still on? or is imminent parenthood changing your mind about traveling? There are some good wineries in KY that you could check out while you’re here.

man gary, brutal score for that michigan state wine, i almost want to buy it now just to experience 50 point quality.

easy question today, the university of wisconsin madison. great city, great people, acceptable wine selection, just about everything i want. i’m finishing up my third year now, but i’m on a study abroad program in australia now, honestly, madison wins on (almost) all counts.

QOTD – My alma mater The University of Washington. Though truth be told, I have learned more from life and travel than I ever could have in a class room.
