QOTD – Purdue University – I graduated from Purude in May ‘08 and loved my time there! It’s also where I started getting into wines when I took a wine appreciation class my final semester. Boiler Up!

    Great episode,

Could we have a UK (United Kingdfom) related QOTD at some point? :)

Still playing catch up with your older episodes :)

Yeah, I was with Mike O until I realized you were just doing cow colleges. If you’d wanted to taste real wine, you’d go for ‘04 Fresno State Petite Syrah–the best PS in California (except maybe Green and Red)

    I think its 15 minutes of fame mr. Ner-Chuck. ; )
    just kidding.

super pumped for the book deal! can’t wait to see you in my local bookstore. I’ll be snatchin’ that one up faster than a new calvin and hobbes anthology (and thats pretty fast)!

Anyways came home for the weekend which meant I could drink the parents wine. Had some Chianti. Tried smelling/tasting – got nothin’. Clearly I need some training. But it’s a start.

    A start…

    Finally, question of the day:
Ryerson University in Toronto (I’m a Canadian), Second Year, studying New Media. Whatever that is ;) Guess it’s my favourite since they took me haha!

California State University, Chico! Where, if they made a wine, you’d never get a taste because it would all be drunk before it ever got to the bottle!

We’re having a tasting on Sunday for the best red for under 13 bones. My buddy swears by the David Caffaro Petite Sirah from Sonoma(where we buy futures). Awesome! I’m gonna bring the cheap ass THUNDER with a Castoro Cab from Paso Robles.

    Thanks Gary

QOTD: Charles Darwin University, Northern Territory, Australia. I don’t think this place has a single sports team or an hint of academic rigor, but what it’s got is probably the most casual attitude of any university in the world!!

    Thanks

Gary, you killed it the other night at the Tony Robbins event in Las Vegas. Everytime they mentioned your name throughout the rest of the conference the place would erupt! Now that’s what I call leaving an impression! Best part of the talk was 1 important word: CARE! Truly rang home! Be Good & thx for the passion!

Fun show GaryV – wish they offered wine making when I was in school. I might be on another career path now if they had.

Stanford, Go Cardinal! Unlike my girlfriend who was smart enough to get into Stanford, I did not attend. However, I am a Denver Bronco fan and John Elway (Stanford ‘83) is/was the man! Love the spontaneous “qwuag” on the Michigan wine!
