Not a huge NZ fan, Sau Blanc once in a while..have had the Cloudy Bay.. QOTD-have some whites again, Viognier, Petite Sirah on Reds http://www.winelx.com

qotd: I plan constantly switching it up and avoiding an endless barrage of Napa cab’s and chard’s and all the other boring, overpriced, name dropping stuff out there. Not that I don’t love a Napa chard or cab every now and then.

Nice tight show, GV. I generally agree with you that Cloudy Bay is fairly consistently well-made, but it doesn’t usually excite me, especially for the restaurant wine list price.

QOTD: I just had WL order me a case of 2007 Chateau Le Nerthe CDP Blanc because my wife and I had it in Vegas and it was outstanding. As for other summertime preferences, a nice Tavel (Rhone rosé) is always enjoyable.

GV – I am really late in watching this show. Between Easter and a business trip, I have not had the time. Good show. I really like Kiwi SBs. Have been underwhelmed by the Cloudy Bay myself.

QOTD – Albarinos, Pinot Gris, and Sauv Blanc – my spring and summer wines.
