Man, Sasha was hitting up that gefilte fish like it was a basket of warm bread!!!! Sasha is always blast! I hope he is coming on the Thunder Cruise.

What’s with the hush hush on the baby news? You should have a naming contest!!!!

    Great show!
    QOTD: not soon enough!

I’m glad that every WLTV episode doesn’t have this much tension, but this is easily one of the best. Loved it.

QOTD: No idea when the economy will improve, but I think it’s a great time for individual lives to improve — when the easy jobs, the low-hanging fruit, are gone, people have to figure out what they love and what they do best and go for that, and that’s an exciting thing, even if it’s scary as well.

OMG – that show was SO awesome – I haven’t enjoyed an episode so much in a long time!!! BEST GUEST EVER. Nothing personal Jancis…

I didn’t know you guys were Jewish – Pesach Shalom!

QOTD: I am guardedly optimistic that the turnaround is staring domestically right now at a macro level. Unfortunately, the improvements will take a while to hit everyday people, much as the downturn did. And other countries will be behind us on the way up, just as they were on the way down.

You two were hilarious and made me (Andy) laugh out loud numerous times! Mr. V. telling Mott it is okay to take his shirt off was hysterical! Make sure you have your dad on again soon Gary :)

Original Vayniac. Haven’t commented in a while but Sasha made me do it. Put a fork in that mans hand and he is WLTV gold(I am thinking back to the birthday cake episode).

    QOTD – 18 months.

Great show Sasha and Gary! Good job calling Gary out on trusting your own palate, keeping it honest and real. Happy Passover.
QOTD: I hope that a sense of optimism will pull us out of this economic funk faster than the mechanics of the system expect.

Sasha is definitely my favorite guest. Gary, I enjoy every show, but the chemistry is really perfect for a great piece of entertainment when your dad visits.

Please let us know what Portuguese wine you liked so much, Sasha. I’d love to find it and try it myself.

    QOTD: Late fall, early winter

I am sorry Mr. Vaynerchuk, but my Pens are taking down your Devils in the first round… Nothing personal, we’re just better :-)

QotD: Not sure when it will “end”, but I think it’ll start to turn around Q3 of 09.

As for supporting the President… I’m sorry, but if I do not agree with his policies I simply cannot back him just because he beat my horse. It is different than supporting our military, because they do not make the decisions, they simply follow orders issued by the President to protect us. That is why they deserve our unwavering support.

I do pray that the decisions he makes are best for the country even if I do not agree. Part of a democracy is the ability to disagree, and I’m taking every chance I get :-)

Thanks for the Dad episode. It reminded me of my (passed away) Dad, they could have been brothers. Priceless.

QOTD: I didn’t vote for either candidate (gave my political money to Ron Paul). Would love President’s plan to do well – as I’ll do well in it’s wake if it happens. Economic future prediction: bottom in late Summer – Early Fall. Slow clawing back. Will depend mainly on future decisions, hence no way but to guess when real recovery will occur. Key will be Obama’s decisions in Winter of 2009/2010.

Great familiar episode GV. The thundershow would even greater if you would travel around the world, with your dad, visiting the best wine makers, i`m convinced about it… Greets from Argentina.

    My favorite show of all-time.

The look on your face Gary when your Dad brought up Obama, and kept going back to it was priceless.

MUST, must have him on regularly.

Gotta love a guest who is less hospitable to other people’s opinions on wines than you are Gary. I loved how your Dad didn’t feel bad picking a fight. I could watch this episode 20 times – priceless!

QOTD: unfortunately I think the recession will last longer and be harsher than most anticipate. Graduating in this environment is going to be rough.

Screw cap vs. Cork, the debate continues. Here’s a video of Michel Laroche and wine spectator’s Bruce Sanderson tasting the same wine that has been aged for four years, one in screw cap and one in cork.

perception is bullshit, but this show was fck’n hilarious. sebastion was cute. the cabernet banter was priceless. you should have sasha review a wine with you at least once a week. i kinda agree with both of you guys. it is a wine that one could drink easily on a carefree weekend, but at the same time, why would I want a cabernet that tastes anything remotely similar to a beaujolais? bytheway, i would totally watch sasha’s political blog. “mott, you can take you shirt off”

gary again a topnotch show. love your chemistry with your dad! makes me miss my dad. he died almost 4 years ago. have to check out old episodes with your dad. i bet they’re equally hilarious.
on a different note.i ordered some doisy vedrines, really excited on trying it on easter. expecting it tom. Gary i would love to have a vayniac wristband. hehehehe. Great Job!

    keep the episodes coming

OMG; it’s been said “that was the best show ever” this was! Unbeatable. Sasha is the only one that can interrupt you Gary and the only one that you can’t get away with interrupting!

QOTD: Keep this a wine show, stay out of politics.

    Hi Gary,
I didn’t know where to ask this, can I get your opinion on Monte Majone Toscana 2003, was told it is about 70% sangiovese and rest grapes from France to give it depth. I tried it and it was nice,
I just don’t know if I am getting my money’s worth. It is around 16 dollars a bottle (750ml).

    Your opinion is greatly appreciated!!!

    Abbe Faria

This was an absolute CLASSIC. I loved that Sasha had the bigger glass.
Funny, but the dynamics between the two remind me so much of me and my dad…

QOTD: It depends where in the world. In the US it looks like the recovery is starting already. In Argentina, where I live, people are predicting a recovery by mid 2010 if we´re lucky.
And Sasha, we want you back on the show sooner next time!

QOTD: I hope soon….by the end of the year.

We love you Sasha!! Great fun and entertaining episode. Maybe Gary can follow-up with the name of the Portugese wine that blew you away.

Very entertaining show. As someone who lost his beloved father at a young age, I can really appreciate it. QOTD: Unfortunately, with all of the good efforts to stimulate the economy (President Obama is trying to do the right thing with the stimulus), the international economic problems are far more profound than many people understand. The stock market will dip again in a big way and, more importantly, unemployment will continue to grow for many, many months.
