You and your dad absolutely crack me up. The banter between you two is like I had with my dad who I always think about at Passover. Can’t say that I have had any of the wines but I bought several of the previous episode kosher wines to have for this year.
This, for me is the worst financial crisis I have seen since I have been and adult. Not a depression certainly as I remember my parents and in laws talk about the depression but certainly worse than early to mid ’70’s. Let’s call it a repression.

Sasha – How can you taste anything after eating gefilte fish? Great show very entertaining.

Most entertaining episode you’ve done in awhile. I LOVE your dad! Please bring him back when you have better wines to argue about . . . and let him talk more next time, okay?

Wishing blessings to you and your family. Oh, and “Bless you, Mott!”

Never seen an episode of WLTV with your dad before! I loved him as a guest! The dynamic between you two is too funny. He’s more subtle than you, but just as spunky when he needs to be. I see his point in the $5 wine. For 5 bones, you can’t expect to be blown away. If there’s some elements of palatability, there’s probably a time and place for it, even if it’s crappy as a true Cabernet. Keep on truckin’ Gary.

Fabulous episode! That kind of comedy can’t be scripted. I almost fell out of my chair laughing. I know everyone wants to know what that mystery Portuguese wine is, but after Sasha’s opinion of the Alfonso do we really want to know?

Gary, I didn’t see the other episodes with dad, but from this one it’s pretty clear where you get your “interrupting” skills.

QOTD: The economy will start getting better when we all stop worrying about it!

QOTD: No end in sight, but I do think current policies (both parties) will help by next year. All we can do is keep plowing forward.

I loved this show. Not perfect by any means, but fun and honest. Gary did we hear you call the baby “he” to your dad or is that a generic he?

If Sasha were the guest of every episode of WLTV, I’d watch every episode. He’s awesome. Give that man his own show!

HA!! Gary your dad is so old school! Give wine to the baby — awesome!

QOTD(1&2): Support the pres yes – but freedom of speech is the only way our system can work, and probably wont be for a couple of yrs yet before the downturn turns.

Daddy Vaynerchuk is really cool. He goes to the point. Amazing show, man! You’re a great team.

    Gary -
Incredibly funny episode. I have not seen past episodes that have had your dad so this was my first encounter. Gosh, he interrupted you – good for him. The dialogue about the Don Alfonso – great – you couldn’t even script somethig like that. He sure puts you in your place – nice to see.

I am not a kosher wine fan, therefore the wines meant little to me although I would have to say the episode was one of the better ones.

QTD – I’m guessing you will see some improvement in the key factors late this year with continual improvement in 2010. Ohio (Cleveland), which is where I reside, seems to always be about 6 months behind any curve unfortunately and we ave been hit very hard so a complete rebound will be difficult to come by.

I love the interplay between you and your dad. You should have him on your show more often. You guys play off each other well. Makes the show extra entertaining.

Forgot to finish my thought on the QOTD – support, non-partisan support, is the only way to get a sound fiscal policy into place going forward to lift us out of this crisis.

corked bottles of wine – 1 in every 350
GV dropping a kiss on Sasha – 1 every 9.15 minutes
Sasha going to the headslap – 1 every 13.73 minutes
Sasha as a guest on WLTV – priceless (I mean that, I have “no hidden interest” in getting my comment read in saying that whatsoever.)

QOTD: The same beautiful democratic process that allows for us to elect a representative leader in our President divides our country along political lines after election. I agree with Sasha. The election is over – support our President.

GV, thank you so much for the Kosher Wine episodes. Loved this one – nice to see some of the less-available brands (at least here in Ohio). We had a 2006 Herzon Cab for First Night – wasn’t too bad!

QOTD: Buckle in – your taxes are about to show you how much you “bailed out” all of these companies.

Loved this episode. The antics of Gary and Sasha should make for a great future comedy team. It was hilarious just watching your dad eat through the entire episode until you pulled the plate away. Then he pouted. Bad Gary!
As for the wines, I have yet to find a decent Kosher wine, although I must confess I have not looked very hard.

QOTD: I think we are at the beginning of this crisis and although we see some light, I fear it is just a reflection of what’s to come.

QotD: Not this year but by the middle of next year.

Awesome episode. It really captured your relationship perfectly. I just wish you showed Sasha’s birds…!

Loved the show–loved watching the interplay between Gary and Sasha! Great stuff. You are very lucky. At this Passover time I definitely miss having parents, my father having passed away in 2006 and my mother in 1980. I never got to have my daughter and my parents together ever at a holiday. But I am so so lucky to have her. Wishing you a very happy Passover!

Haven’t seen pops on b/f but totally enjoyed the banter. Your dad is priceless–brings a classic old-school view.

Love the show. Keep doing what you do!

Fantastic episode. I was laughing out loud when Gary’s dad would stick it to him: eating before he should, drinking before he should, emptying his glass on the floor, dissing the “sniffy sniff”, arguing over Alfonso… just awesome. Best guest EVER. He should be Gary’s permanent sidekick.

    Quote of the Day:
    Gary: “Pretty good nose.”
    Sasha: “We’ll see.”

Gary and Sasha, great show! The real-life father-son interaction is so poignant. I bought a bottle of the Don Alsonso cab (at Ian’s suggestion) and will settle your argument at our second-night seder.

QOTD — the turnaround is starting already, but it will be spotty, not a smooth ride at all.

    My own QOTD:
Sasha, what is that Portugese wine that blew you away? Tell us AFTER you’ve cornered the market for WL.
