Thanks for the show guys, pretty cool.

I could see you were so excited Gary, congrats on what is obviously a big moment.

The Great One joins Gretzky for an episode of WLTV :)
Nice episode and some interesting wines.

But I got to bust AJ- 13 minutes with a little camera and he can’t handle it and has to tap out? WIMPY!

Gary, you hit the big time! Great show. Nice to see Wayne is honest about his involvement with the wine, and if it’s for a good cause then all the better. He was the greatest except for that Mickey Mouse statement about the Devil’s years ago.

Qotd: No way (Lets’s Go Mets!)

It was really interesting and fun to see TGO out of his league.. I guess I better get out there and get a 99 wine!!

while attempting to watch this EP the day in came out … while attempting to get my wife to watch with me … while listening to her berate me for being a WLTV geek … I gently reminded her that she rarely refuses the wine when it’s poured.

    Gary-

I’ve been lurking off and on since episode 175ish and wanted to come out of the shadows. Awesome show, I can’t believe how far the show has come, I mean did you honestly think a few years ago that you would be rubbing elbows with THE GREAT ONE, at his place? Really quite awesome. Keep up the good work,

QOTD, who’s gonna be the next sports god on WLTV?

My husband often says, “There is no better nickname than ‘The Great One’.” Seriously.

Steve Nash was on my son’s fantasy basketball team.

See you in AZ some day.

Gary’s had way better guests imho. Not that impressed. I’ve been watching since 2007, this is the first time I’ve been disappointed.

Gary literally goes One… on One… with the TRUE Great One…

I am glad I watched this. If I had seen the Wayne Gretsky wine on the shelf, I would have probably thought, “Huh.” And then kept on shopping. But, it really sounds like I might have to give them a chance.

QOTD – NO. Go Cardinals! Oh, and have I mentioned that in my closet hangs a Gretsky hockey jersey… from the all too brief time he played for My St. Louis Blues?!?

QOTD: NO! TO pay big money for free agents, to pay $1.5 billion for a new stadium, to lose on opening day and then lose by 18 runs to Cleveland – PRICELESS!!!
HeyTerroirist – All of the profits get donated to a great cause!!

Hey Wayne, you should have brought your beautiful wife with you on the show!!

good show. great feed back you gave him but i think he was trying to sell it more then he was about just going with the flow. kinda harsh but well needed. guess I’m just a big softy. i really like when you keep it real though.

    Great show Gary!
It is nice to see some “celebrity wine” that is actually good. I am going to seek out that Napa Cab.

This guy is a poser. He might be the jock extrodanire. Howeveer, he is slappng his name on a bottle. Sorry but this guy is a Big PHONEY just like the PIZZA LABEL guy .. B.S. Sure everyone wants to make a buck, however he may as well be producing barefoot.. – garbage. – He doesn’t care.. he wants to make money.. so do I. I don’t slap a lame pizza picture on a bottle and try to make a buck.; I Will never buy his wine Pizza boy. Or Hockey man. Sure.. I don’t anything about you. If Michael Jordan Slapped his name on a bottle I would laugh. These winners in sports are losers in wine.

aka Mike in nebraska soon to be mike in Chicago. \

    GREAT interview :)
It was AWESOME to see 2 guys at the TOP of their games talking about things they are so passionate about. I’m from the OKANAGAN, so I already know how GREAT CANADIAN WINES are… it was REALLY good to see how well Wayne’s Wine Collection did with Gary.

Thanks again for a REALLY entertaining & enjoyable interview – YOU GUYS BOTH ROCK!! :D

Ok now you’re officially a Triple-YYY-list celebrity; no Triple-ZZZ-list can have the Great One as a guest.

Not to steal thunder but Igor Larinov (former NHL and beloved Red Wing aka “The Professor”) is also in the wine business and makes some serious wines; the hockey guys love grapes.

No the Yanks will not win the world series, sorry. Wayne I’d love an autographed bottle, just got one signed by Ted Lindsay for the “great hockey player” wines someone put out there.

THAAA YANKEES SUCK,THAAAAA YANKEES SUCK and their new 1.5 billion $ park does’t have nearly the charisma as the old place-too stiff, too corporate. Seems that they’ve lost their mojo.
