Awesome show. This is in my top 2 shows ever. I love hockey. It’s the most exciting and underrated sport in the US. If you love hockey, you have to love The Great One.

Big fan, have been watching the show on podcast while taking the subway home for 6 months now. Never posted a comment until now but had to say how cool it was to see you talking wine with THE GREAT ONE!! As crazy hockey fan this was awesome.
Just trying to get deep in to wine and understand how to identify all the different flavors and aromas you talk about.
Also big time Jets fan, here’s to a great draft!!

Outstanding show GV… From a diehard Canucks fan (the team that 99 scored more points on that ANY team in NHL history) I have to say that was an outstanding episode!

99 said it is goaltending that will win the cup this year and even hinted the Canucks can do it. We will look back at this episode in 2 months and realize he was right. GO CANUCKS GO!!!

I’ve seen you trash wines in front of the makers and have mad respect for you because of it. But this is really your Greatest guest!!! No matter how fair and impartial you want to be with your audience, I’m not sure how you didn’t score at least one of the wines a “99”! I mean in ’83-’84, if you include his 13 playoff goals, he scored 100 goals!!! 100 friggin’ goals that year!!! Yikes.

Unfortunately, having Great guests and telling them the truth is just never going to wash (even if you reeeeeeealy like the wine). Continue to have awesome guests, and we’ll continue to read between the lines and be entertained (and educated).

Great show as always! I love shows where you have guest, it’s great to see you play off each other and really adds an element to the show. The 10% ice wine is an interesting play. I’d love to see what that taste like.

Wayne: I think it’s fantastic that you’re passionate about others and are supporting a wonderful foundation with the fame that you have. Moreover, I love how you were conscious about your name and wanted it on a product that was quality. It shows awesome integrity. I have to admit though, I’m not a hockey, or sports, fan. However, that doesn’t mean I can’t give you some love for helping out others. Kudos to you my friend.

Gary, someone needs to do a much better job mic’ing your guests, especially when you do the show from a remote location. The single mic at the camera isn’t getting the job done. Invest in a couple of lavalier mics and a mixer so we can better hear these folks and you too!

I don’t blame you if you were. But I didn’t think you brought the 100% Thunder that you normally do. Hey, I’m from the South and if Peyton Manning was my guest, I might be a little less focused too.
