qotd: 81 Petrus, obviously I’m familiar with how well that vintage is regarded for 81 Pomerol, but even still it was a real let down. Still really cool to try and at least it was free.

Don’t know what to say. Pretty lame show – you honestly seemed a bit out of it, perhaps “cruised out”.

QOTD – 2002 Chateau Leoville Las Cases – I was expecting so much and although it was an “off” vintage in Bordeaux, I expected more. Seemed pretty dull, perhaps closed.
