    Gary -
Congrats on the book. Best of luck with it. I’m sure it will do well as you have quite a following.

It was kind of fun getting Mott involved … wished he would have taken a sip to get his impressions.

What is with the drop off in comments? If you back off “Kahuna” who has left many single sentence comments and “TimF” whose comment section is … designs, there was only a few quality comments left compared to prior episodes. Maybe everyone is out and about with the spring weather.

QTD – Our daughter had dance auditions for her dance competition team. She will not listen to verbal comments from us so I posted about 30 signs throughout the house with motivational comments on them. They worked! She was rated the third best dancer in her studio and she is basically one of the youngest. CRUSHED IT, baby … especially compared to all the older girls who have been dancing for 3-6 more years than her. CRUSHED IT, baby!!!

Great seeing you back! Good episode once again.

Who rated the Priorat? Maybe he is on the take. We’ve got to get away from the big rating boys. Are we changing the wine world or what?

I totally agree with the Abellars! Had it last winter and it was shockingly boring. Got it für 23€, so I wasn’t that bothered.

    @QOTD
The Thunder Cruise crushed it :)

Cheers, the big German guy ;)

QOTD: What crushed it for me was after working out a dispute between two people at work I was given the head of Human Resources job to work out all problems with the entire staff of 240 employees. What a fantastic day!

Love you Gary, you’re the best.

QOTD Reading some of the comments about the THUNDER CRUISE CRUSHED IT! I really wish I’d gone. 200 fun winos on a boat. Isn’t that a small number for a bigass boat. Congrats!
Nice try on the wines today. I think I’ll order some of the Bandol since I love to say Movedre.
Slight overkill on the book push and I don’t want to help you buy some half assed pigskin team.

Weird show. Like watching the spanglish pre-game show for an over-hyped battle of obscure Mexican wrestlers.

QOTD: Writing about the Thunder Cruise.

Only count me in for one book right now since I am at college and don’t have a reliable shipping address…and since it doesn’t come out until October, I want to make sure I have it the day it comes out. But…I went ahead and got the Vaynerchuk bundle and got his older book as well.

Very siked. Although I am only 18 right now, hopefully I’ll learn how to crush it like no other.

Keep up the great work Gary.

hmmm QOTD. Probably when I hit driver driver on a 555 yard par 5 into the hole for double eagle. Or when my seahawks put the final stake in the jets heart last season to keep them out of the playoffs and shove Favre back into the retirement home from whence he came. Sorry the last wine was meh. or below meh. Seemed to sap your energy a tad.

    Um Doritos Cool Ranch!

qotd: Was invited to a wine tasting by some people I met and was told on the phone to bring a wine for a blind tasting, turned out I was the only guy who brought the wine the rest was brought by a food/wine critic and he was reviewing the wines blind. He through mine into the reds. Best part I brought a Southern Rhone, the reds he had were southern Rhones. And mine was the favourite out of them all haha Awesome!

QOTD: I cleaned out my car today, including a full wipedown of the dashboard that was caked in pine and oak pollen. I’m feeling pretty darn good about myself.

great show and best o luck with the book

If you want something to crush it, get Mark Cubin on the Thundershow. The 2 of you would be fantastic together.

    Gary,
Love the show. Just stated watching about 10 episodes ago. Not much of a wine drinker, but your enthusiasm and passion is starting to change my look at wine.

Congrats on the book. Looking forward to it.

QOTD: Quitting an ad agency to work at a startup. Great potential and danger. And I will CRUSH IT!

I used to be an extreme fan. Have emailed you, churched you up to my friends, backed your validity while other wine folk put you down, used your scores in my store…etc. the time has come to speak the my mind. you’ve let me down. if you don’t believe that you’ve lost something, just research your own archived library of the show. where has the genuine passion gone? thunder cruise…really? i’ll stop now, but damn i could go on. im done watching. have fun plugging your book and your wines. my favorite outlet has lost its way.

QOTD: Today, meeting with the crackerjack rheumatologist that my Mom now has, and gaining a ton of insight into her illness and treatment.

Congratulations on your latest book, and glad you’re back @ WL! Good show, thanks!

    Don

Gary – that episode absolutely crushed it!!! Where do I start… loved your impression of a bear waking up from hibernation, breaking out the big glass for the special occasion, zooming in on MOTT, and rating the priorat 10 points below Wine Advocate.

QOTD: Game 2 of Capitals vs Penguins in DC when Alex Ovechkin had a hat trick and the Verizon Center was going BERSERK… that crushed it… Tonight losing game 7 by 4 goals was the exact opposite of crushing it…

    Good enough for me! :)

    great show!

    WineWoman

Glad to have you back in the saddle. Some pretty interesting wines. I recently visited Napa and Sonoma and rather than paying the winery prices and the problems and cost of shipping, Wine Library is the absolute best place to purchase wine.

QOTD: Haven’t crushed it in a while, but I’m about to very soon.

  24. May 13, 2009

    David T (@ONUMello)

Wellll, I was going to wait until it came out….. but with the possibility of a WRISTBAND involved… I just ordered my copy!!! Can’t wait, even though I’m not much of a businessman myself, I know there will be killer content inside valuable for everyone! PS you’re up to 119 on Amazon’s best sellers ALREADY!!

Also just FYI, I checked my receipt- Amazon doesn’t put the date of order in the email receipt! So you may need to have people copy & paste their order info from their Amazon account to confirm the date. Just be sure to keep us posted!

QOTD: RIGHT NOW! I am about to complete my last two days of class & last final of pharmacy school… then onto clinical rotations June 1st!

Darn, you figured out my score was “inflated”……..
